I voted Jaelen Strong for myself because the guy's a beast already and the biggest knock about him is sloppy routes which Proehl could get to work on.

I voted Ereck Flowers for the Gman because we all know how he loves hog mollies and Flowers is a hog mollie if there's ever been one.

I think Rivera might be pushing hard for Collins in that situation because it seems like we've been sniffing around top rated jumbo safeties ever since he came here.  Gotta think he's pushing for one.

Me

1. Ereck Flowers

2. Philip Dorsett

3. Nelson Agholor

4. Landon Collins

5. Owa Odighizuwa

Gettleman

1. Ereck Flowers

2. Landon Collins

3. Nelson Agholor

4. Owa Odighizuwa

5. Eddie Goldman

If you'd rather have dorsett over perriman you are mad.

I don't know what Gettleman is thinking but in my opinion, from that list, I would take Melvin Gordon.

I know, I know... he plays running back, but honestly, this isn't a strong draft.  I think Gordon is going to be an All-Pro talent and I would rather have that on my team.  I'm not a fan of Humphries or Flowers, Fisher is solid but nothing special, so on and so forth.  I like Philip Dorsett a lot, but Gordon is a better prospect and will produce right away.

    • It's definitely a historical issue at QB but to be perfectly blunt, we also don't do a good job of really developing almost any position if you look at the last decade or so. I tend to be on the side of that being far less a development issue than an evaluation deficiency.  I think we are in the situation at QB2/3 recently due to the overall roster being absolutely abhorrent and the QB classes being quite thin. It is harder to justify another Matt Corral(or several) when you can potentially get a real two deep contributor at other positions.  But, it was a lot of hard work to get to the point where are roster is so incredibly bad that luxury picks literally are not in our vocabulary.  This is the reaping what you sow portion of our history.
    • That is what I meant about our front office. They are like someone filling out a March Madness bracket based on preference of uniform colors and mascots. There's no rhyme of reason to some of these fugg'n mind numbing decisions they make.  They go all in on these flimsy-@ss prospects and are gun shy when it comes to more solid prospects.  It's literally maddening and the reason I stopped being so emotionally involved in this team. Heck the only reason I'm active on the board today is one, it's my day off and two, it's cut down time.
