I think that's part of the reason we took Shaq where we did. Versatile athlete and potential difference maker in our D scheme. There's not a ton of difference in 300+ prospects, so OT or WR in 4th isn't far off those in 2nd.

everyone has been telling us this is a weak draft. we draft two people that will contribute to this team and everyone loses their minds

yea next year, no matter what the Huddle looks like before the draft, i will expect everyone to act like pms-ing 15 year old girls come draft day. i hoped for better this year as people seemed to be calming down and being smart about the draft for once. boy was i disappointed. lol.

    • Rotating in Chuba was beyond stupid and really hurt our offense overall. We’ve been in a good rhythm the last 6 quarters or so but Canales figured disrupting that with Chuba would be worth it Rico fits this offense so much better than Chuba    As far as grades go I know that ain’t our RB1, starting Center and our supposedly deep WR room and exciting talented young TE in dead last. Weird. I wonder if that has any correlation on QB play  Even that first incomplete ball Bryce threw in the end zone that hit Legette’s hands. Legette had no business being there so early. Legette went into scramble drill when that ball was intended for Coker who led up because of the traffic there
    • Yeah Jets have pretty much been in every game they've played and have barely lost to really good teams. They are much better than their record says Imo
    • I kinda just wanna see what the offense can do with a QB who has proven he can move the football in the NFL. If Dalton wasn't a shadow of his former self I'd be fine with him but Father Time has definitely caught up with him. If we start piling up the losses as the schedule gets tougher and the passing offense continues to be anemic that might cast Canales his job and it's worth a very low risk move IMO to at least give him a fighting chance. The thought of yet another Tepper rebuild just isn't at all exciting to me having already seen a few of them. I'm about giving this current guy a fighting chance.
