Great evaluations on all of the picks. I am really hoping Shaq and Devin turn out as good as I hope they will. Nobody is giving us any respect out of this draft, but nobody else was in the situation we were in. When you draft good, your needs decrease each year. I think we met our needs for this draft for the most part. The only position I would have liked to have seen us go early on was a CB. It would have been a huge advantage for any young kid to learn under Peanut.

Remember that last year those same "experts" gave our draft a C minus. These are the same "experts" that gave TJ Clemmons a first round grade.

TDLR: Don't bother listening to those clowns.

Just for once could we please please please leave Marty Hurney out of damn discussions. My god let it go. Hurney brought us Cam, Luke, Kalil, TD, Olsen, CJ, Stewart. Basically the core of this damn team are Hurney guys. He had his faults but he assembled a pretty damn good core. All gettleman needs to do is navigate the cap and build a supporting cast around those guys. He was blessed with a franchise QB and a future hall of Famer quarterbacking his defense, thanks to Hurney. What other GM's walk into that type of luxury?? So let's stop taking shots at him in an attempt to build up Gettleman. You can do one without the other.

They said exactly the same thing about keek..

Thompson has numerous times brought up his need to improve on it up of his own volition. Go watch him play and it will be one of the first things that jumps out at you. I have confidence he'll be a good football player, but at this point he gets blocked out of plays far, far, far too often.

Thompson is smaller than Luke. If a much bigger guy in Luke is still a work in progress shedding blockers, then Thompsons ceiling in that area of weakness is a little concerning.

Hoping we got 5 studs though. Daryl Williams tape is especially exciting.

hes good at tackling , not really that good at getting off blocks because of his small frame

He'll need to bulk up with the strength and conditioning team. He'll also gain "man strength" as his body continues to mature. What we also should keep in mind is that in our scheme it is the #1 priority of the DL to occupy blockers. If a 300+ pound man gets his hands and weight on even a 250 pound man, you don't expect that to go the lighter of the two's way. If our DL performs Shaq will be just fine as he continues to develop.
