This tends to happen when you have good drafts. Its nice to know we might have to cut a good player for a better than good player.

That's kind of the objective, though, right? If you're successful, you have to make those tough calls.

Pie for correctly using the word corps. Just something I notice on the Huddle a lot. Don't mind me.

Hey! Wait a minute! I have have been using "corps" correctly on the Huddle for years, mainly in reference to our wide receivers. Sometimes, I have also referred to the motley crew of receivers that we've fielded for the last few years as our wide receiving corpse as well. Is that correct? :)

I think Klein would be traded before cut

the talents there, the numbers just aren't in his favor

and i'm not sure this MLB we just drafted will do anything to supplant him right off the bat... it's a guy nobody else really worked out. he'd easily be hidden on our PS if that's the case

Core and corps mean two different things. Core means a central, integral item or set of items and corps means a bunch of something, typically people, doing the same activity, e.g. the Marine Corps, Peace Corps, etc. Corps is correct.

Nobody is giving up anything of value for Klein unless their team just got absolutely decimated by injuries at LB. He's a decent enough player but not really that much of an upgrade over someone you can get off the street, i.e. Glanton. Draft picks are valued too highly.

    • Lil Stanky 100% in the dot tonight... And our 2nd line has been our best offensive line this season. Maybe our 2C really was on the roster this whole time...?
    • That’s a grade I kind of expected tbh. I’m not a huge fan of NS, but he’s not as bad as what the huddle says he is minus the horrible game he had vs the Rams. I’ve always thought he’s often used as a scapegoat. The improved pass rush should hide his deficiencies a little bit better if he’s the game one starter. FS might have to be a position we punt on this year unless Thieneman falls to us at 19. The reality is, you're going to have a few average players in certain spots for a team with as many holes we had before free agency started. You can’t sign everyone.
    • I am by no means trying to say he's a world beater. I'm saying it's trending in the right direction. Especially when measured against himself.i think the team feel the same way or else they wouldn't have picked up his option. Plus I think there is a new idea in the NFL about these young QBs. Teams give up to soon. Browns gave up to soon on baker same with the jets on Geno and darnold. Maybe they are who you thought they were in the draft process and they need more time to develop than you originally planned. Either way. I do think he is as capable as darnold is as far as you can win a championship with him. And something he does have that darnold doesn't is he is clutch.  If I need one more drive and 2 mins to go I'm betting on Bryce and I am far from a homer, just going off his game winning drives. He has that dog in him on the last drive.
