I was at that game 10th row 50 yard line. It was an awesome sports weekend. Also sat behind homeplate for the yankees/rays game. Hit up mons and the hard rock

alright alright alright

Nice! Most of the best Tampa can offer right there for a guy's weekend. I need to head down there soon and fish the Gulf for grouper.

greg favors got fined for it for pr reasons

honestly they don't know the hit that actually did it.

Favors was the guy that injured McNabb in the 2003 championship game. Nobody is really sure who caused the Simms injury... he had a big hit from Al Wallace, but it might well have happened before that. Was still a nasty hit though. Al Wallace was probably the best reserve end we've had. Good twitter follow, too.

Also, it was actually Mike Rucker who destroyed poor Chris simms. That was the most brutal hit. That kid finished that game, but Lord help him that hit forever changed him.

Dude finished  game with a ruptued spleen. People can say what they want about Chris Simms, but that dude has got to be fuging tough.

    • OK, fair enough--however, since my point was that drafting a QB in the top 10 is stupid, if you consider the players who were not drafted in the top 10 or those who WERE drafted in the top 10 and did not secure starting positions with the team that drafted them, you should see the point.  Is it smart to draft a QB in the top 10 when only 4 are still starting for the team that drafted them.  Next, consider that half of that number, 2, were drafted outside the first round.  Next, there are 4 (Goff, Mayfield, Jones, and Darnold) who are starting on other teams after busting.   That number could increase as Arizona seems ready to move on from Murray, Miami is not sold on Tua, and jacksonville is still waiting for Trevor to start looking elite.  Bryce?   So to answer your question, there are MANY more QBs in the NFL who have busted and become starters on other rosters, were drafted after day 1, or are still on the cusp than the four who have become elite.  I thought that point was made.
    • I’m more upset that we are changing uniforms in the middle of this road win streak. We have won our last 3 road games in Silver Helmets, White Jerseys, and Blue Pants. We are supposedly wearing Black Helmets, White Jerseys, Black Pants this week… I am a superstitious person
    • He did so well they are moving him to RB, Legette to QB, and Moton to TE…. Interesting. Coker might struggle at LT https://www.panthers.com/news/panthers-release-depth-chart-ahead-of-week-12-for-the-2025-season
