Panther fan ejected...for CHEERING?

It doesn't say in the article... but I'm assuming the guy was in a lower level seat? I've been asked to sit down, once, in a lower level seat, but never in the upper level.

When I was asked to sit down, I just ignored the guy... of course, I don't stand the whole time, but when they make a play, get a first down or something, aren't you there to cheer???

Smoots is right above... pathetic.

I understand the importance of saftey....but having the tattle tell number up is just begging the uptight crowd down low to call for petty stuff. I never noticed that number in prior seasons being up but have noticed it this preseason........is that new?

I stand when appropriate and haven't had a problem in the lower section.....but people down there clearly seem to get annoyed w/ loud cheering and "normal" football behavior.

And this is why we are the laughing stock of NFL fanbases.

Our stadium is filled with snobby douchebags and yuppie fine young males who think football and golf are the same sport.

"Ohh look Miranda, they converted a third down attempt, I do believe a gentle clap is in order. WELL DONE GENTLEMEN, TALLY HO!."

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to SmootsDaddy89 again.

Dude, I've been trying to rep you for days. :D

Meanwhile there were 3 Steeler Fans sitting 2 rows behind me that got in a threatening profanity laced tirade between dropping F Bombs, anatomical descriptions, offers for personal services, requests for the same and raised fists with Panther fans in the adjoining section. All three of them in their 20s were threatening 2 old men and their wives with many children sitting around listening. One or two comments sometimes happen but this diatribe went on for almost 15 minutes. Security was texted but were no where to be found. The seats were probably too far up for security to drag themselves in order to stop a problem instead of tossing folks for ridiculous reasons. Problem is most of them have no abstract reasoning ability.

I went to a game w/my friend a few years back and my friend who was a little drunk was yelling and cheering(maybe a few cuss words too) and this older guy told him to sit down and shut up,my friend basically cussed him out.Next thing, this big black security guard shows up and asked what the deal was,the old guy did his complaining and the security guy basically said"Sir,you are at a football game, chill out",the old guy got up huffing and left.Wish there were more security like him and we were in the club seats too!

As a fan who has been going to Panther games for mega-years, I saw something Thursday night that really pissed me off albeit it was out of my hands.

I was sitting behind a family....mom,dad and three kids.

The little guy in front of me...he may have been 8 or 9..was so into the game...everytime the Panthers would get a first down or close to it he would stand up and jump and be so happy but the mom would look at him and say 'hush' or 'ssshhh' and the poor little one would sit back down...his siblings looked like robots.

What do ya do in a situation like that?

"Hey lady, let the kid cheer..."

What a moron... why take your kids to a game?

Get up and yell as well and high five the kid. If the mom thought it was annoying someone, now she knows it was appreciated. Train em young and let them teach the old ones.
