Extending the contract of Olsen, a Pro Bowler, through 2018 was one of Carolina’s best offseason moves. The three-year, $22.5 million deal was well worth it when you consider how vital Olsen is to the success of quarterback Cam Newton. He is dependable. He is clutch. He is productive.

Greg is a quintessential Charlottean now. I would be highly disappointed to see him play somewhere else or even move after he retires.

I really thought Michael Gaines has potential. His spinning the football to start a camp fire end zone celebration was awesome. 

 

Remember Kris Mangum? In 2006 as the starter, his season long reception was 19 yards.
