I would guess this is good news. No prognosis after this long means there's probably still a chance. A positive MRI would be pretty clear cut imo

This means absolutely nothing other than the fact that the Panthers aren't saying anything more about the situation right now.  Maybe it means the diagnosis is still up in the air or maybe it just means they aren't saying anything right now.  It's basically just the Panthers organization saying "no comment".

It takes only few minutes to diagnose if ACL is tore or not after x-ray is taken.  Panthers PR know exactly what's wrong but will not make it public just yet due to few reasons...  ACL might be partially tore and will require surgery.  Usually it's never a good sign...  Usually it means it's more complicated than just a basic sprain. Probably getting second opinion from different doctor as well...
