you think they are trying to win the game or test players?? I know the difference between preseason and the real season.. Do you?

So when they ran a predictable draw up the middle for no yards on 3rd and 10 inside the 10 in the 1st quarter instead of going for and "testing players", they were testing players?

Again, every QB in the history of the goddam NFL has thrown "shitty picks".

The fact that you don't make that allowance for Newton tells us all we need to know.

That's presumptuous and unreasonable. Think about a scenario where criticizing a QB for a bad play might just be that. I'm not discussing further considering you've already made your mind up about my position(s).

 OK, lets fire Shula right now based on 2 preseason games. Who do you replace him with and how would it help this season?

      I don't really care as much about athleticism and arm strength.  While Murray might be better in that regard, I think Bryce has enough of both to do well in the NFL. The main reason this trade reference is silly is the money and the fact that Murray has been around a long while and hasn't proven that he can perform consistently when the game is on the line.  Bryce has shown that he can play well in the clutch (in the few opportunities he has had).

      If Bryce can continue the level of play he showed after the benching, then there's a good shot we at least compete to win the division. Tampa is a solid team but even last year in our week division they went 10-7 and will be on their 4th OC in as many years. The Saints are a mess and are in a mist of a half rebuild half still trying to compete mode and will probably be starting a rookie QB. The Falcons are a wild card as they have a really good offense but are we really crowning Michael Penix as a franchise QB after just 3 games?  The only thing I want out of this season is for Bryce to come out and without a shadow of a doubt prove he's our franchise QB. If that happens then most of the fanbase would be happy and I believe we'd be in a good place record wise at the end of the season. Maybe falling just short of winning the division with a chance to sneak in as a wild card team.
