This is still the first depth chart released before the first preseason game but the players that have been cut have been removed from it so don't look into this depth chart at all

ok, thanks.  I figured it wasn't too accurate, but still interesting to see now that the roster is cut,

As best I calculate (and my head is fuzzy today, so I may be missing something), there are a total of 72 players listed on the 3 depth charts (offense, defense, special teams).

It appears the chart is missing Brandon Wegher, Marcus Lucas, and Scott Simonson.  It could be a question of no room to include them on the offense's chart, as the TEs and RB spaces are already full

A couple of things that stand out to me:

1) Corey Brown over Cotchery: I think we have all come to the realization that Brown is a lock for the team, but the fact that he is still listed as our starter is laughable. Please, continue to reward failure on this team. At least push him back the depth chart to try and light some fire or see if he can handle some adversity. Giving someone a position by default is not how this should work.

2) A.J. Klein over Shaq - can we please get the inevitable out of the way and do whatever the whole world already knows and switch these two. It's not even like Klein is some veteran that deserves a last hoorah before being overtaken. Meaningless in the grand scheme of things.

3) Boston over Coleman: I assume this is another one that is inevitable because all signs point to Coleman being pegged as the starter. Or is there still competition here that we aren't paying enough attention to? I'm excited to see what Coleman can give us this year and see if he can steady our forever shaky back-line

You have to think though, his leash has got to be extremely short. If they have so much supreme confidence in him, fine, give him one regular season game. Of he flops, he is back to the bench, or better yet, back to the unemployment line.

Glanton still there,  thought he was cut?

Appears to have been a rumor... his name is not on the official cut list, nor is there anything on twitter.  Some folks were commenting on it in the Panthers cut thread, but there is no clear source for the rumor.
