Rivera might have his faults but we always ball out against teams in QB turmoil.

Say what you will about Rivera but one thing I noticed during his few years here is we (for the most part) do really well against scrub QBs or teams the have QB controversies. Sure we have our occasional stinkers like against Sanchez last year but for the most part we tend to not only win against teams in QB turmoil but blow them out it seems.

Be it Josh Mccown last season, the blowout against the Matt Cassell led Vikings in 2013, the blowout against the Bucs a few years back against Josh Freeman's backup.

The Cardinals playoff game against Ryan Lindley last year, Hoyer and the Browns last year.. Let's not forget the Rams game from 2013 when Bradford got hurt.

You can say Rivera has his faults, but there is no doubt this team feasts upon teams with bad QB situations.

Mark Sanchez.

I know, that's why I said for the most part. BTW when was the Brady Quinn game?! I can't believe I don't remember, was it the Chiefs game after the Belcher incident?! If that's the case, no way we would beat that team on the emotional high they were on, not to mention we had literally a bottom defense at the time with the almighty Fua and McClain anchoring the D line

    • He’s also 21 years old. I don’t know why fiz is so eager to label him a bust
    • It’s wild to me that so many of you guys are threatened by the idea of an opposing team fan who is polite in 2025. He’s been posting here on and off for years, usually when our teams play each other which hasn’t been for a while. I’d maybe understand this treatment if it was a falcons or saints fan, but packers fans in general are one of the nicer fan bases as long as you aren’t another NFC north team (especially the bears).
    • Some players excel on the big stage, while others freeze and succumb to the pressure. I’m not convinced Cam took a dive. I think he didn’t handle the stage very well. The pressure got to him and he folded. He wouldn’t be the first quarterback or player to struggle in a Super Bowl. Two HOF examples - John Elway and Jim Kelly. The 2002 MVP, Rich Gannon, threw 5 interceptions against the Bucs. Poor performances happen.  Unless of course you believe all these players threw the games they played in, but if that occurred, surely someone by now would have admitted taking a dive? 🤷‍♂️
