All I know is that if Bersin would've dropped it like Norwood did then he would be crucified. But that wouldn't happen...because Bersin would not drop it.

I don't know, remember when Bersin had basically a nearly identical play against the Aints except it wasn't on the goal line it was at midfield...

After that drop, people in the game thread were calling for him to be cut.

Probably some of the same people that declared Devin Funchess a bust based on one play in preseason.

I agree. I'm kind of disappointed in Funchess. I know he's a 2nd round rookie and they all won't be like last year's draft class, but still. 2 catches in 2 games is disappointing to me. Hopefully he'll continue to improve throughout the year. And Ginn is just way too inconsistent. But you gotta give Philly some credit. He had a solid game against a good secondary.

He had an OK game. The TD saved him. That was some bad coverage by Joseph, but he caught the TD, so that's something.

Please don't get my wrong. I am in no way writing off Norwood. I really hope he succeeds (who doesn't?). My point is that it is not fair Bersin is wasting away on the practice squad when Norwood has done nothing to earn a spot over him.

Have you seen all the practices? That's where players usually earn their playing time. I like Bersin myself, but Norwood has obviously earned himself some PT since he got to Charlotte. Game wise, there's not enough to judge yet.
