they are down to their 3rd TE, but their TEs suck anyway so not really

You know, it'd be nice to use the receiver we traded for more than our third string QB

Webb is one of our top special teamers, we use him more than a lot of guys but it tends to go unnoticed.

I like Norwood but Webb can play more roles and plug more holes than a WR who was gonna get cut until we offered a 6th round pick.

I'm not sure about keeping Wegher inactive.  Stew, Tolbert, and CAP are all banged up, I'm afraid with a few inopportune hits, we'll have Joe Webb lined up in the backfield.

Ive been wondering why we dont teach Joe Webb how to be the holder on FGs. We should always be looking to increase his value, and if it ever came down to a situation where we wanted or needed to go for a fake, I'd rather hima nd his athleticism and ability be out there over Nortman's.

 

That's just one of those little things that teams with a long held coaching staff and core stick in their backpocket as a small weapon they can pull out when needed that teams who have to spend as much time as possible investing practice time int he basics cannot do. Have Joe hold for every kick and one day, when you want to, youve got a real good real fast QB running the fake pass or run over your punter. It'd make the team that much better and it'd be relatively simple to accomplish.

Interesting that both newly acquired DEs or active. We new Allen would be, but the Fresh Prince of DeLaire is a surprise to me. I guess the rotation will be pretty heavy.

CAP banged up?  Don't recall hearing or reading anything about that all week.  I know Fozzy was a bit banged up last week...  anyone have details?
