Anyone holding out hope that we'll re-sign him at a reasonable mid level contract can go ahead and throw that idea out the window. That reported 7 million per season deal we offered him prior to the season looks like a pipe dream now. If he keeps this up, he's looking at a 12+ per year deal easily.

I really believe he's looking for $10M/year. The way he talked about it an interview where he was asked if he thinks he's worth $10M/year it just seemed to me that that's the goal he's looking for. And I think we'll definitely give him that considering that we offered him $7M/year when it was a huge risk after he had only played at a high level for half a season. When it came out that we offered him $7M/year I was surprised. I would've thought DG wouldn't offer him more than $5M per for just that half year of playing well. Now he is truly playing like a top 3 corner and I think he wants to stay here and we're smart enough to pay him a fair amount. Actually feel very confident he'd take $10M/year to stay here, on like a 4 year deal with $15-20M guaranteed.

That would be monumentally stupid. We can keep Josh, and continue building our pass rush through the draft.

Franchise tag at the worst, we'll give him a buff signing bonus so that it can offset the cap hit.

I can nearly guarantee he'll stay here. We're too close to being contenders for a Super Bowl appearance and his role is well-established here.

4-year 32 million 17 mil guaranteed with a 12-million dollar signing bonus.

If Norman continues to have a very strong season......  his agent would be retarded to have him sign a contract that's worth $10M a year.

he's playing like 12mil a year rn. He's said multiple times he wants to stay here so we may get a discount for 10ish a year but i just hope we resign him. Defense really needs him

Pick 6 (followed by a questionable "unsportsmanlike conduct" call on him for celebrating.)

At least the refs were consistent in calling the Exact Same Penalty (albeit the "using the football as a prop" clause) for the Exact Same Celebration done during the NOvsDAL game last night.

If they *hadn't* thrown a flag last night, I'd say Norman would be in the clear on this with a fair argument against being fined.
