Jared Allen is not a walking corpse and Delaire is not the best DE in the league after one game.

He was actually signed as a UDFA by Tampa after the draft.

He looked great and I really want to believe but I have got my hopes up too much about guys like these balling out one game then becoming non existent after that, just kind of makes you cynical when you see a UDFA flash one game

It is an upgrade over Wes Horton. Delaire has impressed.

He even did some things in the run game.  Not afraid to stick his nose in there. I'm sure he'll get caught getting too up field a couple of times in the future, but I like the guy.

Delaire, was cut by Tampa Bay before he was on Washington's practice squad. So this could have been a Grudge Match.
