I'm glad the Kraken is gone

I found an article discussing Greg Hardy's return to the NFL. I am disappointed they do not have any pictures of Greg in a Cowboy outfit as this is extremely negative towards Greg. Looks like Women Liberation Groups are grabbing their pitchforks.

I never thought I would say this but I am glad Hardy is no longer a Panther. The guy is just too crazy.

You know, Hardy's a knucklehead, and is going to say some knucklehead things.  We have other knuckleheads on our roster right now too, I'm certain of that.

We also have some really good leadership in our locker room that helps keep knuckleheadedness contained.  Case in point with Hardy, he tweeted his speedometer going 120, and Smitty tweeted right back his going under the speed limit.  Do you really think that exchange ended on twitter?  No way...

And that's not about Smitty--he's gone anyway.  It's about the culture in our locker room, currently led by guys like Thomas Davis.  Dallas is a circus, and that's why Hardy is going to probably embarrass himself out of the league in the next few years.

I wish he was still here.  For both our sakes and his.

The only crazy person I see is the guy in your profile pic ... hardy was a beast in Carolina and he will be a beast in Dallas .. his attitude and persona is who is he is .. He's always been outside the box and his play showed that as well.. He doesn't hold back ANYTHING even words .. I wish him the best and I also wish the incident never happened and he was still a panther.

Bad example. Both are dumbasses tweeting pics of the speedometer while driving.

totally agree, I wrote this to say I'm glad the panthers are no longer involved, as the media will eat this up. They are even pointing out how disgusting Jerry Jones comments were. Thanks for compliment on my profile pic, I enjoy using hilarious mugshots and update them occasionally.

I'm glad it's in the past. He is an amazing player, one of the best DEs in the league, but he's just never going to get it.

Couldn't agree more.  This guy could be the best DE of all time, but he's a nut and he'll never take full advantage of the gift he was given.

What I read in a different article is that the problem is that his answer was in response to a question about domestic violence.

he was asked a question about playing NE. He didn't just randomly start talking about Brady and his wife out of the blue. Was it un-pc?  Probably. But it's nowhere near the big deal that PFT is trying to make it out to be.  His "guns blazing" comment was no big deal too. The guy has never gotten in trouble with guns and it's a pretty common expression fitting for his situation.  I'd expect him to be more conscious of his wording if he were actually guilty of what he was accused of, but since he's not he wouldn't even think about the connection.

    • With the contract money an OT first rounder makes you can ALWAYS get a new girlfriend.  And probably an upgrade at that.  You only got 2 parents.
    • Brother. You are wholly confusing comparing situations and applying actual standards like most other franchises do like simply getting into a playoff series and winning at least 1 or 2 series games with praising. Nobody is praising the Hawks. Nobody is praising the Magic. Nobody here likes those teams. But reality is reality. The Hawks like other franchises have traded players fired coaches etc but they can still win a couple playoff games. How is that not the bare floor for you or anyone else? What are we doing here if it isn't? We've seen eye to eye on many things over the years. But you are in the camp on the Hornets where you are emotionally attached to LaMelo where you feel the need to carry his water like he's got that juice. That's cool that you feel that way. It's your prerogative. But I differ from that viewpoint entirely. If he had that juice we would not have gotten wiped off the court in 2 play in games with 2 different coaching staffs and rosters. if people don't like hearing that well I'm sorry but how the hell is this team ever going to get better and ultimately go anywhere in the postseason if we just blindly pat them on the back for getting their asses whooped before they actually even get into the real playoffs? There seem to be some Bryce Young level standards being applied here. That's wild to me. But to each his own.
    • Proctor/Freeling were always the belles of the ball where we were picking. What those two *could* become at OT was far greater than what others could be at their respective positions and I’m glad our FO could see that.
