6 undefeateds, talking heads unanimously leave Panthers out of top 5 or have even lower than 6.

There is nothing anyone can say to convince me that the falcons are better than us. They had to come from behind to win every game against the NFC east

If you consider that Vegas typically values home games at 3pts when determining the spread... they really only consider Seattle a 3.5 pt favorite.  If you factor in Luke possibly returning and Lynch's hamstring...I would imagine betters will jump all over Carolina early in the week and push the line down.

We CANNOT turn the ball over.  Seattle will make us pay.  If we hang on to the football i think we have a solid chance.

They started their season similar to this last year and ended up in the bowl.  Will be a tough game no doubt.

we need a "perfect game" based on how our styles match up to win IMO.

perfect game means no dropped wide open passes, no turnovers, or missed kicks.  A perfect game means a low scoring ugly one too

6.5 seems like a lot.  I'd take Carolina to cover too.

The Seahawks, when they were much sharper on both sides of the ball, still barely squeaked out regular season wins.  Vegas tends to set lines to try and get even action though.. so they are probably banking on bettors that think the Panthers are a faux 4-0 to lay the points on Seattle being the home team.

I bet the sharps are all over Carolina though.

Yea pretty much.  Would also like for us to not take the foot off the gas at any point if cam is rolling.  We all know some dumb throw it off the goal post into baldwins fasemask poo is going to happen.

If they lose they will be 2-4 with back to back losses to the eventual Super Bowl participants.

Last year we were 3-8-1 and won a playoff game.

It ain't over for them after the beatdown this week.

An all-cat Super Bowl? I like it.

If Luke is cleared, the spread will drop significantly.

Nah, only a few players can move the line of any game more than a couple points....none are on the defensive side of the ball.

6.5 is a lot, but the Panthers don't normally play well off the bye, we are on the road, we are sitting with 0 losses, and their season is on the brink.

It won't be an easy out.

    • With the contract money an OT first rounder makes you can ALWAYS get a new girlfriend.  And probably an upgrade at that.  You only got 2 parents.
    • Brother. You are wholly confusing comparing situations and applying actual standards like most other franchises do like simply getting into a playoff series and winning at least 1 or 2 series games with praising. Nobody is praising the Hawks. Nobody is praising the Magic. Nobody here likes those teams. But reality is reality. The Hawks like other franchises have traded players fired coaches etc but they can still win a couple playoff games. How is that not the bare floor for you or anyone else? What are we doing here if it isn't? We've seen eye to eye on many things over the years. But you are in the camp on the Hornets where you are emotionally attached to LaMelo where you feel the need to carry his water like he's got that juice. That's cool that you feel that way. It's your prerogative. But I differ from that viewpoint entirely. If he had that juice we would not have gotten wiped off the court in 2 play in games with 2 different coaching staffs and rosters. if people don't like hearing that well I'm sorry but how the hell is this team ever going to get better and ultimately go anywhere in the postseason if we just blindly pat them on the back for getting their asses whooped before they actually even get into the real playoffs? There seem to be some Bryce Young level standards being applied here. That's wild to me. But to each his own.
    • Proctor/Freeling were always the belles of the ball where we were picking. What those two *could* become at OT was far greater than what others could be at their respective positions and I’m glad our FO could see that.
