Can we talk Ticket prices, scalpers and the ticket market?

I want to get 2 Silver Club level tickets for the Packers game and I'd like to hear what experiences you guys have had using scalpers for Club seats?

Why scalpers you ask?  This ticket is the most expensive on our schedule so far this year.  On Stubhub and Ticket Exchange $700 (my budget for 2 tickets) won't buy 2 clubs.  Sure they're shady individuals but I've heard both good and bad experiences when dealing with these agents of the black market.  Are club tickets typically being peddled by these dudes?

For those who have and are paying attention to the market:  will club prices on ticket exchange drop the week leading up to the game?

In order to sell must possess it possess the tickets you want to sell, you more than likely will communicate to someone that you need tickets.  Scalpers are hustlers, they don't go the game looking to sell 2 tickets, they go looking to sell as many as they can for as much as they can, that's why they need tickets.  They buy and they sell.

So you have a $700 budget....as a PSL owner in section 548 and having sat in the club level for the playoff game last year, imho Id say use your money on some great upper level tickets and use the rest of the money for festivities(beer, hotel room, tailgating, etc) you will have an overall better experience with the money you can spend!

However if you are bound and determined to sit club level, $700 might be pushing it on a scalper. Those tickets are about 250$ face value and a scalper is gonna try and uncharge that a lot so say,$300-350 maybe more depending on our record going into the game. There are most def scalpers with club level seats, but print out and take a seating chart with you because they will try and pass lower level seating off as club level.

Another option to try might be Craigslist as scetchy as it sounds. My buddy bought some tickets off craigslist from a guy in Davidson county and now he buys from him at a discounted price 6-8 games a year. Hope you find what your looking for and have a great experience regardless!

im actually a PSL owner so I know the Stadium pretty well.  I have seats in the upper bowl but I want to upgrade myself for this game.  I haven't paid attention to the second hand market for about 4 years so I'm here asking questions.  My wife and I just got married and we fly back from our Honeymoon on November 7th and I wanted this game to be our big finale, hence the desire to experience the Club Life.  Stubhub wants $150 in fees alone for Club seats and Ticket Exchange prices are through the roof.  I was looking last night and in the Upper Bowl, in the top rows, the tickets are listed at like $230 a piece.

oh nice well congrats man! Also try ticket monster they don't charge a fee im pretty sure, so what you see is what you pay. I've been the go to guy for friends and family trying to get tickets for awhile now so I have some good and bad experiences. I haven't had the horror story experience with scalpers that some have, so I would say that's still a viable option, just set a price an be prepared to haggle at bit.

From my experiences, Stubhub is more like RipoffHub.

I would be looking at either Ticket Exchange or Craigslist...you might get lucky.

The Green Bay game is probably the toughest ticket all year, with a huge market for Packer fans, so you might have to settle on something besides club seats at that price range.

I was looking at nearly 700 for only okay lowers for that game.  I've since given up.  No dinero.

yea. It's really outrageous.  MNF against the colts are starting at like $50 a ticket.  Packers are starting north of $200.  Never did I imagine that I would struggle finding great seats for $700.

I wish that either Huddle or RoaringRiot would figure out a way for an honest member-to-member ticket setup to be worked out. Fans should help out other fans who want to get tickets (and won't overcharge the way we're seeing on TiXchange).

Yeah, I get the supply/demand aspect and have bought through the official sites before, but even so - non-locals don't have ready access to friends with available tix.

Ok let me give away my secret. Craigslist Saturday night about 630-800 before the night before the game or Sunday about 7-8 am.  Plenty of people have ideas of making big bucks and over price their tickets. So there will be lots of tickets that people just want to get rid of and have no desire to go downtown Sunday to sell them.

    • I live in Indiana and took a trip that weekend to watch my two friend's teams play (Chiefs and Vikings) IN Minnesota when they were playing at a college field, I think TCF? Anyways, our plan was to watch the game (noon game) then do some shopping at the Mall of America, I wasn't planning on watching the Panthers play Seattle since I was out sight seeing and walking around after the noon game had ended. By the time we were walking back into the Mall the Panthers were down by 2 scores in the 4th or going into the 4th and we were all thirsty from walking around for 2.5 hours after the Vikings game so we decided to postpone shopping until after we ate. We found this nice little sports bar inside the mall that had the game on. Man, I'm so glad we skipped shopping because that was probably the most excited I've been in some time for a win. Beating Seattle in 2015 felt like the "monkey off the back" sort of feeling and I knew we had finally arrived as a team. The entire bar erupted when Cam hit Olsen for that walk off TD. Literally one of the greatest moments of my life. My friend wasn't so happy though lol, by the time the Panthers game ended ALL of the stores inside the mall had closed and he wasn't able to get any souvenirs. It was his first time watching a Vikings game live and making a trip like that so he was legit upset lol. I on the other hand couldn't have been happier.
