Something Pete Carroll said has me concerned

Luke was in the game when we got blown out last year by the same gameplan starting in Pittsburgh and continued for like 6 weeks.

Luke wasn't getting abused. Our entire secondary was getting abused. Godfrey, Cason, White, Harper and DeCoud... Hurts thinking about that sh*t. And that was not the gameplan that was beating us then. It was a vertical attack crushing our secondary. I don't know if you've noticed but our secondary now is actually a strength...

Seattle Seahawks offensive game plan:

Run Lynch or Rawls

Russ scrambles and throws up a prayer

The prayer gets caught

Win

We already shutdown Lynch regular. If we can stop the prayers, we win.

We don't need to stop the prayers. God is a Packers fan.

That's a good point. I think Carolina would have faired better against Brees than McCown.

Of course, yes. We didn't know Luke McCown at all, lack of tape. So our D was pretty vanilla the 1st half because they didn't know what to expect & Kuechly wasn't playing to make adjustments in game. Adjustments were made at halftime.

Houston started eating us up in the 2nd half with that dink-n-dunk passing. NO followed the same game plan and it nearly cost us. Having Luke back in the mix will help us tremendously, but if we let them get those short passes and sustain long drives, it doesn't matter if Marshawn averages 3 yds/rush, he'll be tough to stop in the red zone.

If we can get back to Panther football and win the time of possession battle and run the football, we'll be in really good shape.
