DW getting 100. The Eagles passing game is their feature. They are used to winning without Westy at all let alone his doing his usual big part to help them win. Heck his just being on the field helps them. Probably some Eagles fan will come in here and post what they do with and without Westy and make me look like a fool which is fine because I am way way too lazy to do that much research on an opposing player for one game. :P

If D-Will is held to under 100 yards it's only because the split with J-Stew and Goodson (M-Good?) was greater than any of us imagined.

Shut down Westbrook and you cripple part a large part of the Philly offense.

winah!

just because williams himself doesn't get 100 yards doesn't mean that carolina's chances of winning will decrease.

the eagles need to stop carolina's run game as a whole.

unless ALL of carolina's RBs AND the o-line has a bad game, that ain't gonna happen.

DeAngelo getting 100 is way more important. Mainly because it probably means the game was close and the Panthers were running it towards the end of the game to eat clock. If a guy like Westbrook gets 100 it means that he simply broke a big run or two, the running game isn't what the Eagles are all about.

I think it's important that the Panthers running game as a whole gets ~150 yards, no matter who is getting the job done. Be it DWill, Stewart or Goodson carrying the load. The Eagles aren't a running team so I'm more worried about limiting what McNabb is doing than anything else.

    • Yes message boards will always include that sort of stuff… However, this place has been a cess pool since the team took Bryce Young over CJ Stroud. It becomes a problem when it is accepted and promoted, which it has been here (even by at least one mod). Many posters sole purpose on this board is to try to dunk on others for having different opinions. We just had one write a novella on how talking about Bryce Young’s game winning drives “needs to stop”…after a win. They don’t want real conversation. It “needs to stop”. There are many posters here who literally only show up after losses to dead thread and try to dunk on others about the QB (MRenshaw is an easy example). I really don’t see much of that happening the other way around. There’s too many people that would rather the team be bad so they can feel justified for constant doom and gloom and negative opinions. It’s been pointed out by many over the past couple years. This just isn’t a place to have football discussions anymore because of the constant hyperbole. If you don’t subscribe to “Bryce Young is the worst QB ever who can’t throw the ball further than 5 yards and is the reason why we lose any game we lose and doesn’t help in any game we win”, then you are labeled a Bryce Young Stan.
    • if you believe he is watching every NFL game.....every week.....go right ahead.  I get it, he said something you like.  But that's like believing the talking heads on the ESPN shows are watching all the games.  You think Stephen A is watching the Panthers every Sunday too?  If Stephen A needs to go on First Take he certainly can pretend like he has watched every snap any player on the roster has taken lol.   No one is that isn't a Panther fan has been watching the 9-25 career go down every Sunday.  Or even a lot of Sunday's.  You know who knows more about Bryce Young than Long? The collective huddle.  What they are reviewing is stat sheets, highlights and in summaries.  It's an old formula lol.
