Ron a little surly in his press conference today

Captain Morgan

Recommended Posts

Ron Rivera makes vague reference to things he can't control, says he can't talk about it. #officiating

"It's being taken care of. Cam's been talked to. We are reaching out to the other party. And we're moving on." Rivera on the banner

when asked if he wished Cam hadn't taken the banner down, he said I'm not gonna talk about it.  I'm gonna talk about yesterday's game and the Titans.

It was a $500 sign, pay the guy a grand which is equal to 50 cents for most of us and call it a day

It wouldn't help. The people were already promised recompense before they reported it to the police anyways, and contacted Ellen and all kinds of media. They want attention, not money.

I understand why ron is being reserved and not wanting to touch the subject.  We are 8-0 and how he coaches is obviously working...BUT if "I" were the coach i would have defended him all the way in front of the media all day and twice on sunday.

Cam owes no one an apology.  He is changing the culture around here and is quickly becoming a legend IMO.

Philly media wouldn't of made that a story...

Charlotte media? They were all over it

Local media here too..I mean we're in NC..why would you give these jackwads any time when its concerning your own state team..we're 8-0..report on THAT but no the media here is helping the jackasses by giving them fame..my local news here in Wilmington just posted a story on their website stating "Death Threats"..this crap is making me mad..

Can anyone provide the context for this tweet? No other information was given. Was Ron talking about the looks on the players faces yesterday or in his first two years?

Rivera: My first two years were tough. ... says he was concerned about the looks in his players' faces taking the field. "Here we go again."

I imagine what he's talking about is that "attitude" has a lot to do with the difference between winning and losing.  And that he was afraid his team was developing the losers "attitude".
