 Saw Gettleman on TV near end of the game. Just strolling along with a look on his face of complete satisfaction.

Almost a look of " Look what we have become!"

Yea, I remember those 2-14 seasons, and that makes this so much better.

Criticize him if you want. But he has really turned things around.

the best was seeing Moses getting WORKED out there.  Many out there wanted us to get him over KB and every other talking head said how Dumb Gettleman was for taking Ealy over him.

So, Cam Newton, Greg Olsen, and Ryan Kalil carry the offense over the glaring problems at OL and WR. The problems created by Gettleman with his projects. The anchors given to the Panthers by Hurney. Yet Gettleman gets the credit for what Hurney brought the team to begin the rebuild in 2011.

So did I. I didn't want to hire gruden but I was not impressed with Rivera at the time.

Granted, I had doubts about Rivera and Matsko at the time. Since then, both have looked a lot better.

SMF, CRA and WOW might wanna forget that thread though.

Compared to the rest you looked like Lombardi himself but you were sure Rivera should be fired in that thread. If I had posted in it I'm sure I would've agreed with you at that point though so I was more commenting on how ridiculous we all were then...

      Nothing wrong with it at all until you start telling others they are bad fans or not fans. But you are the good fan because you never say negative stuff about the team.    I did many years of that type of uninformed fanning because there really was no info and coverage like there is with the internet.    I mean, I used to go to the store and get Street and Smith’s annual football issue. That was about the extent of what you could get if you didn’t live in a big city with sportswriters covering and reporting.  There was no video to look at or replay the games and if you didn’t live in the market you could only rarely see your football team play.    TI have fanned since being a kid in the early 1960s, and as late as 1995 - ‘97 I lived in Atlanta and good luck getting more than 3 or 4 games a year on TV. No radio either. No print coverage outside of an AP recap and box unless they played Atlanta.  People today that have always had the network connection don’t know.    I wasn’t very educated about the Panthers until I finally got internet.
