We're a nameless, faceless opponent - Hardy

Looking forward to see his pouty faces on the sideline after we administer an epic ass whupping.

I'll never forget how much poo Hardy talked leading up to the 49ers playoff game, "kilt it, no spoon" etc.

And then he literally does nothing that entire game and the Panthers lose. That is how I remember Greg Hardy.

When asked if he has any friends on the team, He responded... "Which team."

It turns out his only friend might be... the guy he'll be lining up against.

There are really all kinds of storylines in this game... and I expect this one to be played up quite nicely by the media.

I'm encouraged that if anybody knows how to play against Greg Hardy.... its the guy he played against since College.

Dont be blindsided if we dont hear much from Greg on Thursday.

2 minutes ago, electro's horse said:

sounds instead he's not getting caught up in emotions and is just focusing on the game.

Jesus ya'll whine like a bunch of women.

He said exactly what he should have said. No reason to get up in arms about this.

Would people have preferred he say that he can't wait to hit Cam since he never got a chance to in practice?

    • Seven North Carolina players have entered the transfer portal or announced their intentions to enter so far today: Derek Dixon (6.5 PPG) Jonathan Powell (4.8 PPG) Kyan Evans (4.0 PPG) Zayden High (3.4 PPG) Isaiah Denis (1.9 PPG) Jaydon Young (1.8 PPG) James Brown (1.2 PPG)
    • As long as we have DB, odd man fronts are the way to go for us. We want to line DB up between the guard and tackle (4i-tech) because of how quick he is off the snap and his punch on the guard off the snap. If anyone is wondering why he pretty much has to be doubled (or combo blocked) just about every snap, its because he is lined up in that spot in our odd man front. If we change to an even front, it becomes a lot harder to have DB play the 4i-tech.  Not sure if I would say Evero likes smaller NTs - I wouldn't call Bobby Brown a small NT by any sense. I think we run a 1-tech NT, so they are usually getting double teamed (or combo blocked) by concept alone. I actually think Bobby Brown did a pretty good job of eating blocks and being positionally sound on most runs at him (not his fault we were rocking ass LBs last year + Wharton being god awful). The bigger problem came on the toss plays/outside runs where DB wasn't able to blow it up in the backfield (i.e., the Bills game). Lloyd should help with the run D and getting a rangy LB in the draft will definitely help. There are also some good 1-tech DTs (and 0-techs) that can be instant day 1 starters for us in the draft.
