Hornets vs. Kings

This was a game everyone could be happy with.

Kemba was magnificent in the 4th quarter and overtime.

The lineup that started the comeback and finished it:

Walker, Lin, Batum, FRANK, Zeller

Defense needs a lot of work but that's to be expected with a bunch of offensive centric guys on the roster.

What a win, and one they desperately needed with their own "gauntlet" coming up.

This was a crazy game! I just caught up and for some reason I knew not to look at Twitter and online. I am so happy I didn't I enjoyed that come back so much. Love what Frank brought to the team. I really wasn't expecting him to bring much defensively but he did very well. Also Lin struggled almost all game but came up big in OT. Of course Kemba was just amazing.

Great game!! Go Hornets!

Kemba shot 16-23 = 70% from the floor :)

Batum was 2 assists away from a tripple-double as well

Marvin Williams' +/- was a Negative 17 :(

Amazing performances. The Marvin thing was just bad fortune I think. He certainly had a poor game, but the Kings just couldn't miss for awhile there. The tip-in by Gay over Marvin to tie at the end hurt as well. I have been very pleased with Marvin this season though. Still glad he is a Hornet.

Wasnt able to watch til about 2 minutes left in OT.  But, i listened through the Hornets app while i was out until then and that was amazing.  Hope we start seeing more Frank as a result.  Dude shut down Rudy Gay down the stretch and Kemba just went off!  Amazing comeback!

    • The panthers are such a trash organization at this point that all the huddle can do is argue about which panthers team is historically the worst…good times.
    • Well, hope they're not worried about a torn Labrum or Rotator Cuff, as someone who went through that myself, I know those don't have anything show up on X-Rays but from the MRI, so this is kinda a nothing update, hope it's not a tear or his season is already over if they decide to do surgery now. Which is basically what would be needed to get him to 100% for the start of next season's training camp if it's a labrum.  If he plays the season with it and then does surgery, he's not going to be ready for camp and probably not the start of the season either.
    • I always try to not pay much attention to a team’s preseason win/loss record. The 1982 Washington and 2021 LA Rams both lost every game in the preseason and went on to win the Super Bowl, whereas the 2008 Detroit Lions and 2017 Cleveland Browns both won every game in reason and went on to lose every regular season game. There’s many examples of teams that lose in preseason that go on to have good seasons, but equally there are teams that lose in preseason and that continues in the regular season. Which will we be?  I think our floor is a handful of wins, while our ceiling will probably be around the 9-10 win mark. The latter will require significant improvement from the whole team and coaching staff, and will also need Bryce to play like the QB we drafted him to be. I want to be optimistic and predict a winning season, but it’s really difficult as a Panthers fan!
