You won't like it. The excuses are already flowing

Wow, just wow. Denver outgained them 430 to 300, but yeah it was the refs that gave the game away.

umm actually we were ... I think it was prior to the start of 2004 season (correct me if I'm wrong) when we were on the cover of sports illustrated and we were the consensus #1 pick by pundits across the nation to win the superbowl.

that season was a disaster ... mainly attributed to injuries

It looks like we started that year ranked 10th. ESPN has never ranked us as #1. Not sure about anyone else.

That was 2005.  Steve smith had his triple crown season and we did make the nfc championship game only to lose to seattle in shaun alexanders mvp year.

I know we werent a consensus favorite.  I think si was the only publication that had us that high.  I think we were mostly considered top 10 going into that year.  Not sure about that.

No, the nation won't ever see us as the best and that's good. Having the media on your side has never won Superbowls, so they can keep hating and saying we suck, we will choke in the playoffs, and we have had luck, that does not matter, the only thing that matters is the SB ring we will get in the end.

I don't see how they can deny us.   They will but don't see how they can.   They scream weak schedule but if you look at the current playoff picture we have beaten 5 teams that are currently in position for the playoffs.   Washington, Seattle, Green Bay, Indy and Houston.  No other team can make that claim.
