Homers gonna homer...

Luke has been phenomenal, doesn't mean he's the most deserving. The team won numerous games without him and for the first half of the season it's arguable if he was even the best LB on the team. And overall Norman has been both better and more valuable.

Not to mention JJ Watt might be the best player in the entire NFL.

First, I never said he was most deserving, although he IS very deserving (don't care who disagrees)

Best MLB in the game, is not being a homer. He's pretty much viewed that by majority of NFL fans that know something.  He absolutely directs one of the best defenses in the NFL.

I'm sure we could win without Norman. I'd rather not have to see it happen, just to prove my point.

JJ is always deserving.

Thanks for attempting to banter. It was almost fun.

GO PANTHERS!!

Wrong.

Luke is better than Norman but he's not more important. With our DL and Davis, Klein and Shaq our front 7 is still very, very good- probably still top 5-10. Take away Norman and our secondary is complete trash.

I'm not wrong,  even though you are declaring it with all that you are.

We just have differing opinions.

Most fans don't understand the importance of a very good MLB.  The Panthers have always been blessed with good linebackers, so it's easy to understand why they can be taken for granted.

Keep in mind, I haven't discredited Norman once. Not once. LOVE the guy, his ability, his passion, and his personality.

Our secondary is far from trash without him.

You can keep discrediting the best MLB in the game if you wish. You can keep discrediting the rest of our secondary. You can keep declaring I'm wrong.

At no point in my life, and especially now, do I need recognition of my opinion, for me to feel good.

I might take Norman over Luke..

Luke was absent and we still won... I'd hate to see a Norman-less secondary.

Norman takes a player out on each and every play. Luke takes an offensive coordinator, a QB, a running back and/or a tight end out on every play. Norman is phenomenal, but Luke may go down as one of the all time greats. Respect to both, but the crown goes to Luke on this one.

I dont beleive anyone on this team (defensively) or any other team has outplayed Luke.  if he gets 10 points for his play, he gets 20 for his defensive quarterbacking. and its damn hard to quantify that, and even harder to say JJ watt has the same impact.

There is not enough awards... which means there is only one award that matters.  Lombardi

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27
    • Your intelligence is artificial.
    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
