I'm not your buddy guy.  I'm not talking about teenage shenanigans either, and I could really care less about any PC view on it.  If he paid his debt to society and has been trouble free since he should get pardoned as long as it wasn't aggrivated assault.  You wouldn't even have said this if Wahlberg was a Panther fan.

You do realize that we are talking about two different instances here, correct?

He threw rocks, and bottles at Black school children while shouting racial slurs, and beat two Asian men mercilessly, all of that for no other reason than that they were minorities.

In what world do you live in that beating two men to a pulp to the point that one is nearly blind would not be considered assault?

I'm still shaking my head that anyone would actually post something like this in reference to two violent hate crimes.

As if it's political correctness not to want to assault minorities simply for the fun of it.

Its criminal to assault minorities.  Its criminal to assault ANY human being, minority or not.

But is what one does in their youth always intended to follow them the rest of their lives?  Is there no moving on after one pays his assigned punishment from society?

Is there any evidence that Mark Wahlberg STILL feels the same way about minorities that he did as a youth?

As an example, I think the animal rights activist that still go ape-poo over Mike Vick are idiots.  That's in the past.  That's a criminal act that he rightfully paid the price for.  And he DID pay that price.  Move on, people.

Does everyone in their youth commit two separate violent hate crimes? No? Okay.

Whatever man. Check your reading comprehension ability.  Go back and reread my post and tell me where I didn't blatantly single out aggravated assault.   Not sure why you're arguing that.  In fact in a way you've argued that he could indeed buy his pardon through donation to the victim.  Now that's unfair and corrupt in my opinion.

Wonder what your opinion is on prison reform.  Certainly you can't be for it.  Obviously Wahlberg appears to be a reformed individual.  If someone fulfills whatever punishment the judge gives him and stays on good behavior for a period of 10 years then I think it's reasonable and fair to grant a pardon if applied for.  This is all with the understanding that it excludes violent crimes of a truly aggravated nature.  This should apply to all individuals not just ones in the position to make hefty donations.  That would be extortion if the government did that to Wahlberg any way.

Now,  I still think he's wrong about the Panthers.
