I wonder if the NFL chose a one-game suspension becuase it was most likely to stand. I personally think it was flagrant enough to warrant two to four, but I'm glad that what was meted out is being upheld.

I don't really think he's contrite, but I would have at least though a PR rep would have made him do so.

Well played Jno. I also imagine that Minnesota will likely now win that game pretty easily, which will have a direct impact on playoff seeding.

This one game and all this BS could actually be worth it if we end up playing a soft team in the divisional round

Per PFT, no mention of alleged gay slurs was ever made by Beckham's side during the hearing.

(perhaps that's because they know no such thing ever happened and they realized lying about it could get him in even more trouble if the league checked it out)
