Didn't know Coleman got hurt yesterday, didn't read much after the loss. Damn that ones gonna hurt, would like to see wegher get a shot

Panthers will be in a better place when they realize Tre Boston is a better option at safety than Kurt Coleman.

People seem to forget the impact he had to get the Panthers to the playoffs when they finally put Boston in the starting line up last season. Matt Ryan and Julio Jones sure remember the side line to side line speed, athleticism, and great angles Boston had against them last year. I am sure they were happy he was not playing so they could launch that bomb 70 yard bomb over Kurt Coleman's head.

Stewie should be back, so he would take Fozzy's spot on the active list. Wegher would still be inactive.

CAP would just take the reps that would have gone to Fozzy. May actually be better off as I feel that CAP has the potential to be much better than Fozzy.

Stewie

CAP

Tolbert

That actually could be a formidable running game.

I'd like to see Boston come in in place of Harper and leave Coleman on the field, maybe using him more as an SS and let Boston play center field. Really though I just want Harper off the field if they think the ball will be travelling through the air rather than on the ground.

    • Option A:  Pay your starting QB starting QB money. Option B:  Look for a starting QB for 4-10 years (or longer) while wasting the talent at every other position.    How many of the top 20 QB's do you think are worth what they are being paid?   When you factor in the last year of his present deal his contract is really an average of 45 million per year which in today's QB market is a very, very good deal. I wish we'd had found a Brock Purdy to pay 50+ million a year right after we parted ways with Cam.  Ya'll go ahead and live in fairy tale land where good to great (much less elite) QB's are available to pay. Just the fact that they had the chance to pay Brock after the disaster of trading up for Lance is a testament that when you find a quarter back you can win with, complete in the playoffs and superbowls with, you pay him.
    • They will still be a playoff team but they aren't contenders anymore IMO. They won't be able to spend like they have when they went to a SB and proved he couldn't carry a win at that level with a really good team around him. Now he is going to have to do it with less to spend around him. They just locked in to being a playoff bound team that's going to be a known speed bump for whoever will represent the NFC in the SB.
    • Hmm. I think he'll live up to it. Last year, about half of his team was on IR it seems, at one time or another. Year before, Super Bowl appearance. Year before that, playoff run after being third on the depth chart and being pressed into service. Is he one of the greatest in the game right now? Nope. No chance of that. Is he in the top 10 going into next season? Pretty good chance of that.  Would 20 or more teams in this league love to have the guy as their starting QB. Most likely so. He's a good QB who can implement his coach's game plan to a T and has both the confidence of and confidence in his teammates. That'll take you a long way in this league if you've got the right cast around you, and he does.
