Ron Rivera on Tillman "There is some concern."

If his knee blew today it was going to blow the next time he played anyway.  It wasn't going to Super Saiyan heal itself in 21 days. If he's out, the next man up has 2 weeks to prepare AND I guarantee you he is faster than Tillman.  Peanut will be invaluable on the sideline and in the CB room but he has not been the defense's MVP.

BTW, look at all of the newbie, shiny badges spouting what RR should have done.  That's cute.  Let the COTY coach and you just watch, okay?

What everyone is mad about is we had a VERY comfortable lead AS WELL as the Cards getting stomped at the exact moment Tillman got hurt. I know they said they didn't have the scoreboard on, but I know 100% that somebody told Rivera the score of the Cards/Hawks game at halftime, not to mention our already big lead on the Bucs.

I can understand that, not the 100% part but the rest. Yes you can pull guys out because we have a lead but unless you have a crystal ball , it does no good. The guy that you pulled to save him for the playoffs could slip in the shower and get a concussion. You play to win the game and the next game and the next game...

And knowing us we will probably bring Tillman back next year expecting him to have a Pro bowl season. I appreciate what he has done and he has been better than i thought but we have got to get younger and more versatile at the position. Same with Harper

I'd say DE since the drafts suppose to be strong there, then Tackle, CB, safety, and Kick Returner but not necessarily in that order.

I guess I can understand DE since it's likely CJ gets cut, Jared gets a year older and can't rely on Alexander.

DE's only got one sack today.......

Although sacks are great, just pressuring the QB & disrupting his rythm is effective. There were quite a few pressures that forced Winston to throw early & miss his target or to just throw the ball away. Especially in the 2nd half when the younger DE's were playing more. We did much better this game.

I thought it was the other knee?

I was going to ask the question too. Was it the same knee that was hurt before??
