While I whole heartedly agree with your sentiment, I think he was reffering to the Panther's overall playoff chances and that Tillman had lost a step since his intitial injury. I can't imagine anyone not respecting Peanut, the man has come back from several major injuries and always been a baller and an all around great guy.

I hear you. And perhaps I reacted alot too strongly. But I wont apologize for calling PU out. Peanut has been invaluable to this defense all year. I'm not ready to crown Robert McClain as a suitable replacement for Peanut until I see it happen consistently. Sure, he had a great game and I'm hopeful. But let's not forget that he was out of a job when we called him. In the GettleGenius I trust. I just wish PU would at least have enough respect to wait until we see how this plays out without Peanut before he says it is a blessing in disguise.

Okay I'm done. Lol. /rant

Robert McClain did look good yesterday.  My concern is that the quality of receivers he will be forced to cover in the playoffs will be of higher caliber, especially with Vincent Jackson out yesterday and Josh Norman staying on Mike Evans.

Regardless, I'm not going to take anything away from him and his performance yesterday.  The Bucs went after him, and he did well.  I do feel bad for Tillman.  Showed a lot of guts in continuing to play with his ACL partially torn.

Besides AZ the Bucs actually have probably the best WR Corp we will face going forward.

Don't get me wrong, I'd much rather have Peanut and Bene out there, but Finnegan and Mcclain looked pretty good. There were plenty of people saying Tillman (and Allen and Oher for tha matter) was washed up before Gettleman/Rivera got ahold of them.

maybe a star will be born ala Malcolm Butler...that guy came out of nowhere...had huge moment in playoffs...now a shut down corner...sometimes you just need an opportunity

McCain impressed me yesterday....and Finnegan fits the Panther type player mold...feisty...physical...

we be ok if front 7 plays lights out

Just need to bench CJ and start Kony.

I'd agree with you if Jackson had played. But I'd take Baldwin and Lockett over Evans and whoever else they trotted out yesterday

Really you can argue that.  Those WR are not really all that good and Evans is better than both.

Evans is definitely better than both.  But without Vincent, the drop-off to their number 2 was far greater

Not sure of that.  Sea has worse WRs than we do.  Honestly the only difference is the Hawks have a better QB.
