Carson got lucky... period. Also, I call BS on Arians

This board likes to talk about Wilson getting lucky, but that adjective fit no QB in the playoffs more adequately than Mr. Palmer, who lucked his way into several dropped INTs that would have lost the game, a fluke TD resulting from a tip/bounce off a defender, and a WR getting half a field of YAC in overtime.

This is what USATODAY had to say:

If the Cardinals happen to find themselves trailing late in Sunday’s NFC Championship Game against the Carolina Panthers, you can probably be sure the first thing Bruce Arians is going to do is take a quick glance at quarterback Carson Palmer’s face.

That’s what the Cardinals coach did last Saturday night the moment right after Aaron Rodgers’ improbable Hail Mary touchdown pass to Jeff Janis tied the score on the last play of regulation and sent the divisional playoff game into overtime.

“I turned around and the first face I saw was Carson’s, and he was pissed,” Arians said. “So it was like, ‘We’re OK. All we’ve got to do is win this coin toss and we’ll be fine.’”

Umm, no Coach Arians.  Palmer didn't will the team to a win because of his attitude.  That was Fitz getting a wide open pass and embarrassing about five defenders with sorry tackling on way to the five yard line.  That look in Palmer's face was concern about crapping himself again whenever someone came after him in the pocket.  If Sam Shields didn't have hands of stone, Palmer is still winless in the playoffs.

He's not ready for this field.  He's not ready for this weather.  He's not ready for our interior line, or our speedy young guns on the end of it.  Get him eating grass and his broken fingers achin' and we're looking at a senior citizen version of Matty Meltdown.  If they do their part i'm envisioning at least three interceptions.

Arians is a bullshitter.  he has bragged about being a great liar.

He claims he had no intention of playing for homefield advantage (NO NFL coach would pass on playing for homefield)........simply bc his team got curb stomped and the only reasonable thing was to bench guys mid ass kicking.

Arians' boneheaded decision on that failed passing play on their final clock killing drive in regulation gave the Pack enough time to set up a game tying drive.  Just as luck as Palmer was Mr. Arians for Fitz's magic, otherwise he'd be getting reamed for that call all offseason

So basically, he has many of the same traits of other great leaders.  There is no one way to be a great leader.  His way is obviously working.  Arians has been coaching for over 40 years.  I don't think there is much he hasn't seen.

Exactly. Anybody that objectively looks at that game vs. the Packers and thought that Palmer was not bailed out is on crack.

The last touchdown drive in regulation vs. the Packers was filled with dropped INTs, bad reads, WRs bailing out Carson on 3rd and longs, and a lucky TD catch on a ball that should not have been thrown.

And yes Bruce A. is full of sh*t.

Oh, but it gets better. Arians twice overruled his DC and told him to rush Aaron Rodgers allowing Rodgers outside the pocket so he could throw bombs to his WR on that last drive in regulation.

God the LOLs Arains would have received if Larry didn't bail out him and Palmer...

Debatable.  Long term bullshit catches most people.  Maybe not everyone but bullshitters normally at some point end up looking pretty dumb.

Once you break into NFL coaching it is largely a fraternity of sorts.  No matter how bad you are you usually can find work on a staff.  Look at Shula.  A blah coach that finally had talent fall in his lap.

    • My father played Defensive End at Ohio State so naturally my kid is a huge Ohio State fan to go along with his being a huge Gamecock fan due to my ties to the school but last year he swore up and down we needed to draft Stroud number 1. I don't know if it was just being an Ohio State homer or what but he kept watching video after video of highlights and said Stroud was the future for us.  This past season he now claims we should have taken Rattler with one of our later round pics due to him saying he will be one of the huge steals of the draft and will be NFL ready within one season if it takes that. He said if Bryce busts completely we would have a future top QB to turn the team over to with Rattler taken in the fifth. From his prediction last year I'm starting to believe maybe they should hire him as a consultant for a few bucks a week. Hell, he is 13. They could pay him $50 a week for consulting and he would would think he is rich!
    • Yeah we know he is short blah blah blah. I don't have a ton of faith in Young to be the guy or the future but damn that joke is older than the why the chicken crossed the road.

The air is cooled via evaporative cooling, which takes place when water absorbs warmness from the surrounding air, causing the water to evaporate and the air to chill.     OFFICIAL WEBSITE: https://besthealthtopic.com/ultra-air-cooler/   FACEBOOK : https://www.facebook.com/GetUltraAirCooler/ https://www.facebook.com/UltraAirCoolerCanada/ https://www.facebook.com/people/Ultra-Air-Cooler-Revolutionary-Cooling-Solutions/61559701024589/ https://www.facebook.com/people/Ultra-Air-Cooler-Canada-USA-Reviews-Ultra-Air-Cooler-Portable/100093713934891/   JIMDOSITE : https://ultra-air-cooler.jimdosite.com/ https://ultraaircooler.jimdosite.com/   READ MORE : https://granadinistas.ideal.es/news/ultra-air-cooler-reviews-shocking-truth-ultra-air-review-don-t-wa https://granadinistas.ideal.es/news/ultra-air-cooler-review-are-the-complaints-about-this-portable-co https://ultraaircooler-f5e8c4.webflow.io/ https://ultra-air-cooler-reviews-f97f60.webflow.io/ https://remed.microsoftcrmportals.com/forums/general-discussion/eb6230ee-6c21-ef11-a81c-0022487f966c https://uoc-sandbox.powerappsportals.us/en-US/forums/general-discussion/57879f48-6d21-ef11-a296-001dd8095c57 https://ultra-air-cooler-offer.webflow.io/ https://ultra-air-cooler-price-256e00.webflow.io/ https://medium.com/@ultraaircoolerusa/ultra-air-cooler-72bd02d61dc3 https://zenodo.org/records/11437921 https://aaltodatarequest.microsoftcrmportals.com/en-US/forums/general-discussion/7091849c-6621-ef11-a81c-6045bddd9c49 https://exclusiondev.dynamics365portals.us/forums/general-discussion/94b5af1c-6721-ef11-a296-001dd8097855 https://narede.clicrbs.com.br/articles/ultra-air-cooler-reviews-update-may-2024-customer-truth-exposed https://granadinistas.ideal.es/news/ultra-air-cooler-reviews-hidden-dangers-exposed https://granadinistas.ideal.es/news/ultra-air-cooler-reviews-update-may-2024-customer-truth-exposed https://uoc-sandbox.powerappsportals.us/en-US/forums/general-discussion/09819a9f-6921-ef11-a296-001dd8095c57 https://remed.microsoftcrmportals.com/forums/general-discussion/35523072-6c21-ef11-a81c-0022487f966c https://ocsheriff.dynamics365portals.us/forums/general-discussion/aaa65bfb-6b21-ef11-a295-001dd804e445 https://remed.microsoftcrmportals.com/forums/general-discussion/77c0c55d-6d21-ef11-a81c-0022487f966c https://ultra-air-cooler-canada.company.site/ https://chillwell-portable-ac-ca.company.site/ https://medium.com/@ultraaircoolerca/ultra-air-cooler-canada-3d7ccc45ae55 https://ultra-air-cooler-canada.webflow.io/ https://ultra-air-cooler-canada-reviews.webflow.io/ https://remed.microsoftcrmportals.com/forums/general-discussion/aa778571-ca18-ef11-a81c-0022487f966c https://remed.microsoftcrmportals.com/forums/general-discussion/b6a87b4d-cc18-ef11-a81c-0022487f966c https://ultra-air-cooler-canada-reviews.company.site/ https://thecontingent.microsoftcrmportals.com/forums/general-discussion/87ba487f-c818-ef11-9899-6045bd0a3f12 https://thecontingent.microsoftcrmportals.com/forums/general-discussion/01664b21-ca18-ef11-9899-6045bd0a3f12 https://nycourts-dev.powerappsportals.us/forums/general-discussion/dfd1ce15-ca18-ef11-a73d-001dd809778b https://mec.high.powerappsportals.us/forums/general-discussion/ba53d003-cd18-ef11-a73d-001dd801df76 https://remed.microsoftcrmportals.com/forums/general-discussion/2aae6e01-ce18-ef11-a81c-0022487f966c https://nycourts-dev.powerappsportals.us/forums/general-discussion/c52724c7-ce18-ef11-a73d-001dd809778b https://remed.microsoftcrmportals.com/forums/general-discussion/09769e0e-cf18-ef11-a81c-0022487f966c   RELATED TAGS: #UltraAirCooler #UltraAirCoolerUnitedStates #UltraAirCoolerOrder #UltraAirCooler2024 #UltraAirCoolerReviews #UltraAirCoolerReview #UltraAirCoolerOffer #UltraAirCoolerTrial #UltraAirCoolerWebsite #UltraAirCoolerPrice #UltraAirCoolerIngredients #UltraAirCoolerBenefits #UltraAirCoolerPrice #UltraAirCoolerFree #UltraAirCoolerToBuy #UltraAirCoolerCost #UltraAirCoolerStore #UltraAirCoolerBuyNow
