Bruce Arians blows hot air

CarolinaSunday

Recommended Posts

Bruce Arians, admitted liar, is trying to spin that the weather benefits his team (who practiced all week in near perfect conditions) more than the Panthers (who practiced all week in conditions that will more closely approximate game time conditions).  Bruce doth protests too much, methinks.

Quote

"Sunday is going to be 37, wind about six miles an hour," Arians said, via the Arizona Republic. "You couldn't ask for better than that in Charlotte."

Arians said, other than practicing with wet footballs, Arizona didn't worry one iota about the weather. The coach added that the weather conditions could actually give the Cardinals an advantage because their practices weren't interrupted or affected.

"This is one of the best practice areas in the league," he said of the Arizona facility. "Indoors or outdoors, we're never going to miss or disrupt our week of practice. But yeah, that's (practicing outside) got to be hurting (the Panthers)."

Man, I guess if Bruce said it, he must be right. I mean, practicing in the same temps you'll play in as opposed to practicing in 80% humidity at 75 degrees (I'm no ARI weatherman, I have no idea if this is accurate - sounds good though) has to be awful for your team...

Nah, Bruce. Gonna be a tough sell for you my man.

Well, practicing in Arizona sure as hell did not help his team the last two games.

They gotbthevever living poo beat out of them in Week 16 by the Hawks and were damn lucky to win last week against a mediocre Packers team.

They are about to walk into a buzz saw in Carolina...and they are all just too stupid to know it.

I get that this is a panther forum, and you're suppose to talk crazy about the opposing team. But your nuts if you think Bruce isn't a good guy or coach.

Today he is the enemy. This is not the time to talk about what a great guy he is. This is football.

I mean just off his hat game along, I think he's one of the coolest coaches in the league.

Nobody cares. He said something ridiculous. He's going to get mocked for it. Nobody cares if he's your bronie.

    • I don't think it's a homer though when I really feel this team can beat anyone.  The points that can be scored in bunches when the big three are on has high potential.  Moose has effort for days and IMO is the heart of the team.  And didn't see Miles becoming the team "vet" in the starting lineup just roleplaying lol.   We have to limit the turnovers though (Brandon Miller I'm looking at you bud, you are a bad ball handler) and some little things.   Colby off the bench is a cheat code and him and Kaulk have a nice little game going with the picks.    Sion playing every game and just getting better each game.  He has grit.  Grant and Green also grit.  We need replace Tillman with PJ Hall though.  Tillman looks like someone that shouldn't be on an NBA court, or at least with this team, he's just too slow for this tempo.   Even McNeely looked decent tonight and can drive.   If Kaulk and Moose could even be like 30% 3pt shooters man....
    • 1.) LaMelo 2.) Kon 3.} Miller 4.. Giannis 5.) Moose   1.) Coby 2.) ? 3.) Sion 4.) Miles Bridges 5.) Kalk That squad would win multiple chips.
