Our biggest weakness came back to haunt us

Cotchery drop in the first quarter was the biggest drop because two plays later it led to the fumble in the endzone and Denver recovering it. Also when the offense got to start on their own 49, we decided to run up the gut on 1st down and then on 2nd down, we did a dumb flea flicker play to Ginn.

This game we really needed Kelvin Benjamin because the passing widows were going to be tight and we need size to muscle Denver's DBs. Also we will have to address issues with our OTs. I think Oher can be serviceable for another year but I hope that Daryl Williams wins the starting RT spot from Mike Remmers this offseason.

mike remmers is fuging awful. he cost us an undefeated regular season and he was one of the driving components in a loss today.

I don't care if he makes funny jokes, Ron. Get rid of him. If Williams is the man, then he's the man. if he's not, then spend some money on something worthwhile. make the weak links on this roster take some accountability for themselves.

Hell, Shula even called a good game

No. Just no.

He knew his OL was not good enough to block, but he insisted on long developing routes, and for christ sake, Stewart up the middle on first down every damn time. How predictable can you get? Not to mention how long it kept taking to get the play call in. Called a good game my ass.

Hope Denver enjoys this because Peyton being done means they're going to be poo for a while.  However, for us, we're young and we'll be back.

Nothing is promised to you. The 49ers thought they would be back too a couple of years ago. You have to win...when you can win.

Everything that we did right before this game, we did wrong in the Super Bowl. Our weaknesses were exposed. Our O-line needs to be better, and our receivers need to be better. Shula needs to be better.

All that being said, we had a better year than I expected. But, make no mistake, we will have to shore up those areas if we expect to win the Lombardi.

Receivers, can't get separation and drop everything

Shula got outcoached, the RBs were horrible in blitz pickup and Remmers played bad again. I wonder how many catches Funchess would have got if he would have gotten Cotchery's snaps.

No need to be. This offense was a lot better than expected this season. This Broncos D is all time great.

We shot ourselves in the foot and much of that comes down to moronic play calling. How many times did we run for nothing on 1st down? Did anyone see any adjustments? Help Remmers maybe? Screens, quick throws, run at the DE's? Hurry up?

ANYTHING?!?

Cam was off, but it starts with the OC. I wish Cam would have gone rogue.
