Ealy made Super Bowl History

In the Big Game, the second-year player registered three sacks. He's in good company; he's in a three-way tie for most sacks in a single Super Bowl (Arizona DT Darnell Dockett -- Super Bowl XLIII; Hall of Famer DE Reggie White -- Super Bowl XXXI).

Ealy intercepted Manning in the second quarter and forced a late fumble, keeping the Panthers within six and in contention for the Lombardi Trophy. The pick etched his name in the record books as he became the only player in Super Bowl history to record multiple sacks and an interception in the game.

Vets will be gone....D.G will find the DE to compliment Ealy. Add Addison, Delaire and possibly a draft pick...we should be good to go. The two studs in the middle are going to be here for a while I believe.

Add a kid in the first round and have another CJ Hardy duo of 2013.  2 talented guys coming off the edge can bring the D to the next level see Denver last night.  Our CJ Hardy duo carried our D to the top which carried the team.

Shame he seemed to be in Rivera's doghouse (and with good reason at times) for most of the season. Really hope to see him starting next year and continuing to develop.

AND HE ONLY PLAYED 23 SNAPS.

This coaching staff has a HUGE weakness for playing vets over better, younger players. And I just can't figure it out. Ealy was the best player on our defense and we only let him play 23 snaps.

i personally like William Hayes because I believe he's someone that we can afford  if he's healthy and would be a nice fit for the Panthers

Greg Hardy would be a pipe dream just like ziggy but definitely would shore up a glaring weakness at a fairly reasonable price

Muhammad Wilkerson is probably the most coveted FA 16' DE and if the Jets let him walk hes getting mad bank

so that would be my top three as of now, with William Hayes as the frontrunner taken all things into consideration

Our whole defense played their heart out yesterday.  Given the situations they were put in they did an excellent job at keeping the score where it was.  With that said, Ealy was on another level...dude completely balled out and was my MVP for the Panther's in the SB

the more the game subsides, the more i keep thinking about EALY. he balled out, he rose to the occasion. like others have said, had we won he would have been the MVP. there have been times where we've been hard on Ealy but man he has what it takes and showed his 1st round pedigree, even though other teams didn't see it, Gettleman did.

i feel bad, because we lost the hype for him is gonna suffer for a while and i think he deserves the hype. one of the things with this SB game was coach trying to give the vets a chance to play and win. that's a player's coach for you. Kony should have been starting/playing much more. he was held back all year by CJ and he needs to break through to start on the left side where he belongs.

i imagine discussions with CJ will be we want to give you a pay cut and you're gonna be the back up. if not, we need to let you go.

SO excited for Kony, the confidence boost has to be huge. also, when one of our guys got tackled out of bounce Kony was flipping out and could have been penalized. that's what i wanna see. he is a future leader here and i can't wait to see what he does going forward.
