Has anyone else not watched anything sports related today?

As soon as the game ended...

deleted the game off the DVR.

Turned off the TV and haven't ventured near it since.

Couldn't conceive of even watching the post game interviews.  (I get it Cam)

Huddle is the only sports related venue I'll be visiting for awhile.

I am looking forward to the NFL draft and training camp.

Yes, even though it was painful. It's hilarious to see how effed up and two faced the media is. Stephen A Smith/Colin Cowherd came to the forefront today as the biggest assfaces in the sports media.

I watched a lot of Cowherd today b/c I was staying with my uncle for SB weekend and my cousin was sick in my room today all day so I have to stay in the living room b/c nowhere else to go in little apartment. I've had to listen to him all day and he's been trying to rip cam the entire time , he keeps saying he wants the QB to behave differently than any other player and it "time to grow up" is his main title for the cam conversation.

My uncle is religious about watching his sports shows every day so couldn't persuade him to leave it off and somehow the herd is his favorite show.

Not going to lie to you guys it's bad around my area. So many people are running their mouth I actually had to unfriend a couple people on facebook. 90% of people I see talking sh*t aren't even Broncos fans and my hat is off to the Broncos btw I have no problem giving credit where credit is due but I'd say the non Broncos fans talking sh*t really does get on my nerves. Don't even bother checking or reading in the comments sections of NFL articles the amount of uneducated drivel in their is astounding. We lost the Super Bowl and still had the best record in the NFL. fug the haters. We are 23-3 dating back to last season there is no doubt in my mind we will dominate these fugs next season as well.

It's nice to know I'm not the only one..

I haven't watched any TV today period. Didn't go to work. The only time I went out was to get some groceries and I pretty much had my hood up the entire time. I got on Facebook and immediately regretted it and ended up fighting with various friends and family who decided they thought it'd be funny to continue to try to push my buttons. I also napped all afternoon too. It really REALLY sucks when you live in Indiana and are surrounded by Manning fans. Between this and watching my Gators get their ass kicked New Years Day I think it's time for a sports break for awhile...thank god AMC is doing a Jurassic Park marathon tonight and tomorrow..

Sigh...

You live in Indiana too? Which part? I know EXACTLY how you feel...

I live about 30-40 mins from South Bend, in La Porte and the funny thing is I didn't hear a word from no one before the game it's just ridiculous in my opinion.

I am in Kokomo and it's absolutely ridiculous....the problem is people don't know when to quit and seem to want to keep pushing and pushing...I've about told off family members i never thought I would

    • Just going off the draft sims and he's always sitting around 20 lol. First year in a while where we haven't been thinking about the draft already in late October so haven't really looked into the top 15-20 picks yet. Also the qb class is super weak so he probably will sneak up into 10-15
    • I fully expect them to pick up his 5th year , and they're waiting for him to put a full excellent consistent season of QB play in year 4 or 5. If that don't happen,  they'll eventually cut ties.  Here's to hoping he just goes on a team in 2026. The worst thing he could do is continue to see-saw us to around .500 records because it might be impossible to replace him at that point unless youre willing to do the veteran qb carousel poo we did from 2019 to 2023.
    • What do you think of Bryce Youngs career thus far? Are you excited about his progress or is it not enough for you? I included a poll of ranking his performance through 3 years thus far.  I personally think he's made some decent progress. Has had some high moments (last half of 2024, Rams game, ATL game in 2025)  but in my mind, those are still outweighed by the many more lowlights thus far (ex turnovers, missed throws, poor decisions)  It's a very mixed bag for me. He's done enough to get a 5th year option but by no means should we lock him in with a 50+ mil a year multi year deal. I want to see him play consistently well for a full year before that happens (yes, I'm still saying that going into year 4. That might be telling).  Just sucks when you see CJ Stroud, Jayden Daniel's, Caleb Williams almost immediately lighting poo up with their arm talent. Maybe Bryce is just an ultra slow burn. I don't know what to think anymore. Guess we're gonna be stuck with him for a whilr unless we end up being bad enough to earn a high pick next year. I doubted it lol. Overall Stats for his career:       ● 14 W - 30L (regular season)       ● 0-1 playoffs record        ● 61.4% completion, 8291 passing yards, 49 TDs, 30 INTs  Year 1:       ● 2 wins, 14 losses      ● 60% completion rate, 2877 passing yards, 11 TD to 10 INTs, 5.5 yards per attempted pass Year 2:        ● 4 wins , 8 losses        ● 60.9% completion rate,  2403 passing yards, 15 TD, 9 INTs,  6.3 yards per attempted pass  Year 3:        ● 8 Wins, 8 Losses         ● 63.6% competition rate, 3011 passing yards, 23 TDs to 11 INTs  Playoffs         ● 1 game in year 3 ( 0 - 1 in playoffs)         ● 21/40 (52.5% completion rate), 264 passing yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.
