Oh.

Suh: "There was a team in the championship (game) that we destroyed in camp," Suh told the Miami Herald. "But it doesn't matter what you do in camp. It matters what you do through 17 weeks during the year."

Nevermind the fact that we lost our number one receiver the first morning of joint practice and were playing with scrambled eggs for brains those days.

I seem to recall we won our preseason game against Miami.

Granted, it was close.  31-30.  But I don't think you can say Miami "destroyed" us.

Camp is one thing.  Games are another.  Just like stats are one thing, but W's are another.  In the end, what matters are the W's.  We got 17 of 'em.  Sorry Suh.

He must be talking about a joint practice, because he had 1 combined tackle in the game. His comments regarding "domintating" in practice reminds me of the time I was happy that I fouled off a 96 mph fastball.

Preseason games don't mean anything either, really. Even if your #1 goal is to win the game, it doesn't mean the other team has the same attitude.

Just goes to show you only need a tiny little brain to make it in the NFL.

Why are we talking about a practice with a team that couldn't even play well enough to keep their coach the entire year? Let alone a team that paid this guy a tremendous amount of money to come in and do absolutely nothing. Congrats Suh! Here is your training camp trophy! Now go shove it where the sun don't shine.

Everyone needs to chill out and have a qualude.  To me, Suh is calling out his own team more than anything, and if I do recall, people on this board even reported that the Dolphins were running us ragged at camp.  Relax, who cares, be thankful you're a fan of this team.

    • It appears that he sees things differently than the QB and OC, so Cam's advice is spot on. It isn't about number of targets, it's about quality of targets. Trust and being on the same page. BY doesn't know how to anticipate what XL is doing. And XL doesn't like where BY is placing passes. One on one film study would go a long way. More for BY than XL though. He has to adjust to XL. I really don't think XL can adjust on the fly.
    • If the team shows improvement, then he shouldn't be in danger of losing his job - even if the record doesn't reflect. This was a very young team (with a lot of new vet starters) that overperformed last season. Somebody's doing something right. Consistency is key with so much youth. And we're potentially looking at new starters at ILB and FS. Those are positions that take time to fully understand the defense. ILB calls the front 7. Safety calls the back 4. Injuries at WR and IOL killed the offense last season. Depth needs to be upgraded. Same with Edge. I think they would have won more games if Pat Jones doesn't go down early. Be smart with the roster and draft. Trade players for assets when it's time to pay them more than they're worth - yes, that includes BY if he doesn't make a pretty big jump. That's one of the many reasons Tillis is as important as anyone to the future of this team.
    • He had heart surgery a while back he looks Fraile I hope he is okay
