Still more cap room

About 3.75 million to be exact...

Panthers continue adding cap space

Quote

With the NFL salary cap set to see its biggest increase in a decade, we already knew the Carolina Panthers would have a nice amount of breathing room. On Thursday, they added a bit more.

Under the current CBA, each team has the option to carry over unused cap space from the previous season. The total carryover amount from 2015 is $203,963,112, so the average carryover per team is $6.4 million.

The official cap for the new league year hasn't been determined, but it's expected to rise by about $12 million from last season's $143.5 million cap. Once the new cap is set, the carryover amount and other adjustments from 2015 will be combined for each team’s official salary cap position.

I wish you could trade for cap space...Jacksonville, let us grab about 10 million of that.

The rule is you can only trade cap space if you also agree to give up your knowledge of what to do with it.

That's an area where I wouldn't want to swap places with the Jags. Ditto the Browns and the Titans.

How the hell did the Browns carry over 20 mill. I though the cba said you had to spend a certain percentage of cap every year,

There are things in this life I've decided it's better not to try and figure out.

How the Cleveland Browns operate is one of those things.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27
    • Your intelligence is artificial.
    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
