Shaq Lawson says he is scheduled to meet with the Panthers in Charlotte. He's not sure when the date is.

I would be happy with either. Dodd has more upside, but Lawson is very similar to CJ and would be a great replacement.

If either are there at 30, I'd be pretty excited. These 2, the Bullard kid from Florida, Ogbah if he's motivated, etc. all have me excited for DL prospects in the 1st.

Not surprising to see us bringing in DEs projected in the 1st round.  Gotta think if there's a DE that fits our scheme and has a 1st round grade on our board there at #30, he'll be the pick.

I'm not in love with this CB class.  I think we'll try to target a guy who we project as a nickel with a mid-layers round pick, but I'd be surprised to see a CB at #30 unless someone surprising is there.

A lot of people would lose their poo, but it wouldn't shock me if we went back to back with DL picks in the 1st and 2nd.  IMO, DL is the biggest strength of this class.

I'd definitely be pleased. Ideally we get a DL and DB in some order in 1 and 2, but it would be hard to go wrong getting two DL early out of this draft class especially considering the holes on the team.

Lawson is a long shot, but Dodd is absolutely in play at 30

Good defense starts at the line and whether the front four can get pressure so going DL two picks in a row is not a bad idea imo...

I think Dodd has more upside and fits our needs (RDE) more that Lawson,  but I would take either in the first round.
