I wouldn't call him a sleeper, but a dark horse pick for us at #30 that I really like is Karl Joseph.  I think he'd be an instant impact player at SS.  There's only a short list of players I'd prefer over him, and it's entirely feasible they could all be gone by our pick.  Namely Dodd, Ogbah, Hunter Henry and maybe Josh Doctson (not sure who I'd prefer between Joseph and Doctson).

I personally think Doctson is the best WR in the draft.  He reminds me of an athletic Jordy Nelson/Erick Decker type.

Keith Marshall is interesting.  That crazy speed is complimented by 220 lbs.  Played behind Gurley and was injured a bit but I think he has pretty good potential.  Not a big fan of this RB class overall though.

I actually like this class a lot but who knows until we see them in the NFL.

Yeah I hear ya, the other guy who looks pretty good is Devontae Booker.  He could be snagged higher than people think to a team in the second maybe.

Alex Collins could be a huge steal as well. Collins had 20 touchdowns in the SEC along with 1,577 yards. Very hard to do and also impressive that it was on an Arkansas team that was not one of the best in the SEC last year in terms of record.

Prosise is an odd one for me.  When I first saw his play, he seems like he has a great deal of potential and Foster-esque but after further read ups, seems to have some big issues.  Anyone concerned over Henry's pad level should be even more hesitant with CJ.  Converted WR, poor blocker, runs upright a lot and constantly floats to the outside rather than finding holes between the seams.  That last part is my big question mark but there's no denying his in-game speed and toughness.  He needs to prove he can grow into an NFL style back but I think he goes later than many project.

Love the rest of the list though

My sleeper is DT Javon Hargrave-South Carolina State

His big knocks are being 6'1", raw, and playing in the FCS level of college ball. Big pluses are his career stats of 37 sacks and 62.5 tackles for loss in 4 years of college. Was the best player at the Shrine game, which earned him a call to the Senior Bowl as a late injury replacement.

Getting drafted by Carolina in the mid-rounds would be ideal for Javon. Not being expected to start right away gives him time to develop with coaching from Eric Washington and Sam Mills III. DTs like Star and Soliai that do more run-stopping and take on double-teams are easier to find than DTs who can pass-rush like KK. I'd like to see a better pass-rushing DT at back-up so the rush doesn't fall off as much when KK is taking a breather on the sideline

I've been reading up on this guy I feel that he's a perfect fit for our rotation behind KK.

    • As the demand for apartments grows parking is becoming limited and it’s sad. I use to tailgate but I just park at uncc deck now and train in and head to rhino market. My tailgate grill hates me.
    • It simply depends on perspective. CMC, when healthy and on the field, has a higher YPC and YPR than LT. Yes, he's been injury prone, but this is simply a "all quarter-century team." There are certainly different stats and different lists. If this were a list or about a team simply based on longevity, then of course LT wins that every time, but some lists are more subjective and nuanced depending upon what they are, and it's not necessarily a reflection upon a person's ability to analyze sports.
    • From my what I have seen the overwhelming majority of people who are considering the notion a possibility don't really want to see it happen but are considering so for a number of reasons. Most importantly availability. Secondly even when he plays the last few seasons he has been red hot or ice cold. Then there is the subject of his defense which to say the least leaves a lot to be desired. Then there is the image of Ball inactive laughing it up on the sideline (while our team was getting the doors blown off) with previous busts who are now relegated to hanging on by a thread in the g league. I think we should be able to recognize with the team going out of their way to put a very strong emphasis on culture and leadership with the conclusion of this years draft that they expect LaMelo to lead the way this upcoming season and that begins with making significant strides and trending in a positive direction in the aforementioned aspects above. It just has to happen.
