It's not mutually exclusive.

I can't imagine extending Norwell would preclude them from doing anything else, either.

Gettleman just spoke glowingly about the OG from Stanford. Fair bet he is high on our draft board and paying both Trai and Norwell elite money might not be realistic.

Does Norwell feel that way? Josh Norman and elite money probably don't belong in a sentence together either and you can see how that ended up. Norwell was rated around the top 10 by PFF for OG's this year. He may not want elite money but he will almost certainly want just below that.

With so many players entering the final year of their contract in 2016, or others up in 2017...this draft could get really interesting for some of our young, and old vets. 

Any position except for QB and MLB seems up for grabs in the next couple of years depending on how contracts shake out.
