Man I was at BofA when they announced the Cam draft pick. Thousands were there and went nuts. Was a great experience.

Cam Newton likely would have saved Chan Gailey's job.

Chan Gailey is a pretty creative offensive mind and would have been a fantastic head coach for Cam Newton.

(Not saying Rivera and his coordinators haven't been.  Just addressing this threads "what if".)

Except that it was pretty common knowledge at that time that Buffalo and Chan Gailey really liked Cam Newton.

When those other QB's was praised over and over while Cam was getting ignored and shitted on still fuels my dislike for them today. Its going to be a while, I don't care what anybody says or think

I remember thinking that cam would probably go there and that would be a great fit because they had started using the pistol formation the year before. I thought cam would be lethal in that offense.he probably would have been. I don't blame them for being upset they didn't get to draft him.
