"KEEP POUNDING" NC license plates now available

Cool - just ordered this one -- two passions - Panthers and Sailing.  Someone already has SAIL so had to go with SA1L.

Been wanting to replace my current tag - right now I have a Charlotte 49ers tag but it has painted on numbers instead of the pressed letters and it has always really bothered me.  I hope this one comes pressed and not painted...

Sorry to bump this from page 7, but I had a question and Google was failing me.

I received my plate today in the mail.  I had renewed my normal, boring plate and registration earlier in the month before ordering this beauty.  There were no instructions on what to do with my old registration and plate.  Anyone have any idea if I'm supposed to turn these in?  Keep in mind that mind that my "old" plate and registration are less than a month old.

I don't know about the registration card, but I'm pretty sure you're supposed to return the old plate to a license branch.

Take the old plate to DD Peckers in Pineville and put it up on the wall. Tell Justin I said "what up".

You got a new registration card with the new plate. Sign it and put it in your wallet or glove compartment. You are supposed to turn in the old tag within 30 days to the local DMV office but honestly I doubt it is a major crime.

no one has SAIL. you are required to have at least 1 number on the personalized tags. i wanted 5150 but had to settle for 5i50. also i had read that in order to save money, nc was ditching pressed plates in favor of printed. not sure if this still holds true or not we shall soon see.

    • Rags lost again. All is right in the hockey world.
    • He’s responsible for two drafts classes. The first was one of the worst drafts I’ve ever seem. The second one is showing a ton of promise. I’m somewhere between skeptical and hopeful on Morgan.
    • I'm a big fan of Dan. His ability to find productive players deep in the draft will pay off.  I'm going to give him 1.5 draft classes right now, because I do think it's a little unfair to evaluate his first year when he got the job in January, especially when we went into that draft not having a first round pick.  XL and Brooks are still big time TBD players. Both still have incredibly high ceilings, but both have also given us legitimate reasons to have a lot of pause. Trevin Wallace, Chau Smith Wade and Jatavion Sanders have IMO outplayed their draft position early in their careers. That's a great thing. He also got Coker and Demani Richardson as UDFAs that year. Given the situation we were in, I really don't mind the gamble on the high ceiling guys. Still may work out, still may not, but if you made a checklist of ideal situation for an NFL GM to walk into, ours was near the bottom of that list.  Every single 2025 pick is contributing in some way. That typically doesn't happen. I am absolutely blown away by this draft class 6 games in. Even the best GM's miss on occasion, and we can't expect Dan to be 100% on drafts moving forward. Ryan Fitzgerald was an excellent find as well.  Comparing our last two drafts to the previous few is pretty shocking. Can you imagine this season without our Rookies? It would not be good. Additionally, this roster only has 6 players with more than 6 years of experience, and two of those are specialist.  The next step is equally important, and still very much TBD. We have to avoid Cap Chaos.
