Not to be outdone by Tyreek Hill, Thomas Rawls, and Frank Clark, officer assaulting felon Trevone Boykin, fresh off not even being allowed to play in his final college game, takes the reigns at QB as the Hawks get 3 on the board in the turd bowl.

Peters INT'd dangeRuss in the endzone after the Chiefs ran it down the throat of the Hawks 1st team D (sans Bennett).  7-3 Chiefs.

Great post, man. Thanks for the update. And yes, I'm being serious.

You're welcome.  I missed the 2nd half but I assumed it would be a preseason snooze fest.  I missed the officer assaulting felon become a hero.  Lovely.

Not saying Jarran Reed is a bust but when you lose Mebane and Irvin your D will suffer, pure and simple.  It sure looked like it after preseason game 1.

could you make threads for other games too?

I don't mind but I honestly haven't watched or kept up with any other games to this point other than this one.  Hopefully I will have a chance to watch at least some replays on NFLN.

He's being sarcastic.  He's the thread police. Funny enough though, he didn't go crying in Jeremy's thread that had nothing to do with the Panthers or football

Very first game, first preseason game, stop overreacting, yada yada yada.

Between this game and Hard Knocks I've seen enough of Goff that would make me hate life to have that guy as my QB. Just another Blaine Gabbert. Poor Rams.

Wentz messed up his back too.

    • We don't have to tear down Dak to appreciate what Bryce did yesterday. Dak had 0 running game. If the cowboys were better, he'd be a legit MVP candidate if he keeps playing this way.  They did it with Ceedee last year, but they do a better job of anybody we play consistently of getting their best receiver off Jaycee.  Bryce was good too. If we just catch the ball that was intercepted, we probably win by 7+, and Bryce goes over 200 yards passing.  Biggest shift the last few weeks has been play calling. I thought Canales abandoned the run game way to early at times last year. This year he really seems to be sticking with it.  I still think Chuba is better at making 4 yards when there's nothing there, but Rico is better at making 30 yards when there's 6 there. I like the direction. Hopefully we can get Moton, Sanders and Coker back and really be dangerous. Our play action game is pretty deadly right now.  Unrelated: My favorite quality about Bryce right now is his ability to see the defensive hold and throw the ball there. He EXPOSES the officials when they don't call it. That one on Tetaroia yesterday late in the game was a bad miss on their part.
    • That sacks allowed number lookin juicy!
    • This is a game the Panthers should win... just the sort of game they lose. The Panthers have a bad habit that goes back years of playing down to the competition's level only to mess around and lose the game. The Jets game should be taken very seriously! But I want to enjoy the fact that they beat the Cowboys for at least another day or so!
