I'm not worried, are you?

Playing the Pats for the 3rd preseason is a good thing.  They are aggressive.  They will show you different looks.  It only makes us better.  Yes, we didn't look ready for game 1 of the regular season but that is what preseason games are for.  The young players got a taste of the real world.  The vets see where they need to beef up their play.  All in all, I'm not worried about the regular season.  I believe in Rivera doing his job as head coach.  We have great players that will take last night and put it to good use.  And by-the-way billy cheat and his hip pocket doll brady suck.

Not at all. In fact, many people was worried with his game yesterday, so I watched the preseason games of 2015 to compare.

Pass almost intercepted against the Bills in week 1.

Week 2 against the Dolphins. Overthrown targeting Dickson

Pick-Six

Week 3 against the Patriots. Overthrown in the endzone.

A completed pass to Olsen, but not a smart decision throwing in double coverage and the throw was bad.

Overthrown. Again.

"Not even short pass. We'll be crushed by the Saints"

In fact, looking at just the numbers in preseason, try to guess what is season 2015 and what is season 2016.

Year ????: Rate 64 1TD 2 Ints 26/47

Year ????: Rate 77.2 1TD 2 Ints 26/48

We'll be fine.

    • Bryce and Dave will determine how many games this team wins next year. It’s not on the WRs. The RBs. LBs. This is about 2 things: 1. Can Bryce continue to come up big in the few key downs that decide most games?  2. Can Canales evolve his play calling to counter punch like the big boys do. Half time adjustments.  teams that score 30+ points on the regular win more games than not. That’s on Bryce and Dave. The offense is top 10 at every position group, save for TE and QB. A baller TE is gravy but not crucial when the receivers are dudes.  The defense is the defense. It’ll be better this season, hopefully by a large margin, but Dave/Bryce is really where it’s at.
    • Normally I'd wholeheartedly agree with this. But I feel like teams figured out this offense after the Raiders game. Bryce was so inept the first 2 games that we couldn't really even run the offense. Dalton's first game showed what we had. But after that game, coverages got a lot tighter and windows were smaller. When Bryce came back in, his ability to extend plays made a big difference. It's really difficult to stop a QB that can beat/escape 1on1 tacklers. It puts a lot of pressure on the defense when you blitz. And he was completing throws in tight coverage with anticipation. Point being Bryce wasn't throwing to wide open receivers that were schemed open by the offense. Occasionally yes. But not often.
    • With the additions we've made to our roster combined with the state of the division and the conference as a whole there is no excuse for this team not to make a legitimate push for 8-9 wins. Anything less is honestly inexcusable. There will be no more free passes for being a doormat in this iteration of the league where even mediocre teams are competing for playoff spots.
