Thoughts on the team

If anyone should earn your ire at the end, it's Remmers for getting punked the last half of the fourth quarter, and Jannsen for shanking the snap high, which caused the holder to bobble it a little, which threw Gano off. I'm not seeing how that was anywhere near Gano's fault, especially since he just made one right before the TO was called in.

I am going to say three things that I have said from the beginning

1. Shula is not a true OC. You want to know the true MVP in the Suoerbowl was,, it was Shula  This offense is not sustainable  Newton will be crippled before he is 30

2. Getting rid of Norman a huge mistake.  3 draft picks on CBS and the DEs are abysmal

3  gano should not have missed that kick  I have seen a few too many like that  on the biggest moments can't count on him  other teams make those kicks, not the Panthers

finally and I hate to say this something died in me with that Super Bowl and to watch this game and see the face masks the helmet to helmets not called, it is a sad joke

Funny how different this thread would have been if Gano made that kick. We would have been talking about how great the offense was, how good it was to have KB back, etc....but no. Let's blow up the team and start over!!!!

No one can even fool themselves into thinking that the offense was "great." Three turnovers, and couldn't even put the game away.

Had Gano made the kick, I would have been very grateful to have escaped with a close victory.

Sure, it's good to have KB back. It really is...but Cam need not forget that we have other receivers, and Shula should get Funchess, Philly or someone out on the field more to play in the slot.

The most dreaded part of being a Panther fan is when we lose our fans crumble in to a fetal position, cry, and throw everyone under the bus.

Only fetal position that was taken was when the Broncos manned up on the Panthers and no one did poo about it.

No one got back at them and they just took it up the ass all night like "sure hit our QB in the face a few times".

Tough guys out there huh...lol fugin joke.

Broncos can whoof all they want they know they own us and they did it twice in a row and no one challenged a single broncos player.

All this sky is falling talk from some of you guys is ridiculous. We just lost on the road against the defending champs. That happens. We still have one of the most talented rosters in the league and won't let this one loss define our season. You scrubs need to get it together and keep pounding like the rest of us.

Fug the refs, fug Remmers, and fug Gano. You had one job, make the fuggin kick. I know it's not fair to blame one player, but my god, make the fuggin kick and put the dagger in those assholes.

I haven't even mentioned our oline. Your kicker is super important. I've seen franchises loses important games off kicks and their assses were out the door that offseason.  I know I'm not the only person that saw the lack of confidence on Gano face after he got that little practice kick in. Fool missed a 44 yarder in the SB too

How do you let a team with a 7th round draft pick come back and beat you when you entered half-time with a 17-7 lead. It's embarrassing

I still can't believe that Graham Gano had the audacity to watch that game and actually go out there and miss that kick. Not kidding. You've got one job dude.

Can't be mad at him. It never should have come down to him. He's a convenient target because his kick would have won or lost the game. But if he made it, i wouldn't feel any better about next week or our shot at the playoffs. We've got way too many other weaknesses to hang your hate on him. There is no such thing as a clutch kick in week 1.

Cut Gano.

Trade for a DE or S. That's all we can do at this point.

The trade market for DE's has been established.  In short, it sucks to need DE help.  Unless you're the Carolina Panthers and are familiar with the #1 FA.  Release the Kraken or get used to more of the same.
