All the protests these days. We should protest the bad officiating this week by removing the NFL logo from our field.

Most of the Broncos fans (albeit on the one thread devoted to the topic) are in agreement that the hits to Cam were at the least questionable, and at worst egregious. When the offending teams fan base agrees with the headhunting narrative, you know there is some truth to it. 

I commend them for not being so self-absorbed to completely deny that their team played with the intent to harm and hope that if they can see it clearly, the NFL can see it clearly.

Benji is our guy and we love him,   and it's painful seeing players attack his legs..      but going low on big WRs is what is taught these days.   Defenders will try to shoot for his lower body this season,  to try and knock him off balance and trip him up.        Players have always gone for the hard hit,  it just used to be to the upper body,  but upper body hits don't mean poo to guys like Gronk, Benji,  Evans,  or  Megatron (prior to retiring).     They also don't mean poo to guys like Julio.               Defenders are going for or have went for all of these players legs.  

 

 

It's what makes the hits on Cam so confusing and leaves me with no other thought than they were head hunting.           Cam is a big,  big man.   the only reason to attack him high like that,  is to try and aim for the head.    Most go for his legs.

Yep I don't think so either, he's sat back and watched this Cam's entire career. Ron has always taken the cowardly way out and doesn't want to rustle any jimmies... Well Ron it's about damn time you start speaking out and protecting the man that keeps you employed and your little minions employed.

Well, there you go, Captain. There should have been a flag on Brandon Marshall on the hit to Cam's head. I'd like to ask the NFL to review the other hits to his head and answer those, too.....

Actually I'm glad he isnt. Let his daughter and wife do the dirty work for him. He needs to be focused on getting the team ready for San Francisco.

what I want is action. I want suspensions for the scumbags who committed the crime. I want consequences for officials who fail to properly perform their jobs. I want action.

Rivera can complain about the refs in private all he wants, but embarrassing the league in public makes them pissy.
