I don't think this would have happened with the Seahawks

Outside our division, it's really two teams that I don't care much for; New England and Seattle. But, after this game, Denver is clearly included here as well. After facing the Seahawks so many times the last years, and Seahawks getting the better of us until last year, the hate for Seahawks increased each year. However, between the players of Seahawks and the Panthers, there seems to be a mutual respect for each other. I can't remember this kind of dirty play from the Seahawks, and the players seem to speak about each other with respect. This Denver team however, clearly does not behave with the same respect and sportmanship. I never thought I would give the Seahawks credit for anything, but this came to my mind yesterday, and it really bothered me how the Denver players and their coach behaved. In addition, I can't think that even Belichick would have approved this kind of behaviour by his players, which makes a big point about Denver's..

And, to make things even worse, I find the way the Denver fans behaved leading up to the game, only focusing on talking negatively about Cam and the Panthers, and after the game keep bragging about the hits against Cam, kind of disgusting. Due to all this, Denver has made the the top of my outside division hate list for the time being. At least until we play the Seahawks again...

When we lost to Seattle pre 2015 season, in the regular season or playoffs I attributed to the fact that they were just a better football team and just not at their level yet but concerning the Broncos and the 49ers in 2013 playoffs, the officiating gave those teams a "green light" to play as reckless as needed. If you give an type of NFL defense, including the Saints, it will be a tough task to overcome.

The Seahwaks are well skilled and well coached. It those damn shady AFC teams that get dirty especially the ones that have or had a golden boy QB.... Regardless of how good we are, we are seen as the expansion team underdog aka, "The Practice Girl"... you know the little kid that brought the basketball and can actually play. When we finally go over the top, the hate will be stronger and we'll be called dirty and arrogant. watch and see. They better protect my QB!

Yep, when Seattle was beating us, it was truly that we were slightly worse than they were, and they won fair and square all those times. However with Denver, they HAVE YET to beat us fair and square, and I still believe we are a far better team than they are. If not for the refs in BOTH GAMES, I believe we win by double digits in both games. Refs have controlled our momentum in each game. Denver is nothing without the refs.

Never going to change. A blowout doesn't help the NFL.

I grew a ton of respect for the Seahawks as an organization when I saw This Video.  Seahawk fans are douchey, and some of their outspoken players can be annoying, BUT organizationally they do things right.  Between the panthers and them, there is a healthy rivalry of 2 teams trying to better each other the RIGHT way.  On the flip side, you have organizations like the Broncos or the Bengals.  Seriously, when dirty play is a staple of the way you do things, it's indicative of Coaching and the organization and the ONLY fix for it is to start suspending coaches.  I say start by suspending Wade Phillips for 4 games for what happened thursday.  If technique doesn't change, then it's 8 games.  Still no change?  Then he's booted with Kubiak being next in line to get booted if PROPER TECHNIQUE is not addressed.  Coaches will only start doing the right thing when it financially benefits them.

Much of the ire for the Seahawks has to do with the Seattle fans I think.

Their players talk, and do jaw on the field a good bit but not much more than our own do.

Denver at the moment has entered Saints bountygate territory. Opponents like that are irredeemable, and not worthy of real respect. Winning the Super Bowl doesn't give you the right to try to give other players brain injuries. Bragging rights sure, but this is way beyond that.
