Breaking down those 300 Julio yards...

In Benwikere’s defense, he was the only Panthers player to cause incompletions when thrown to Jones.

Thing is though, Bene was burned deep on the one where he had that good pass breakup. He was just lucky the ball was underthrown. Even when he made a good play, he was still beat.

In what world should Bene be trying to cover Julio Jones by himself 40 yards down field ?

As slow as Roman Harper was, maybe our secondary really needed his on field intelligence.  Seems it was a mistake letting him walk.  Coleman needs to step it up big time.  Boston has proved he's not the answer (this year at least).

It's this reason why I'm hoping that Michael Griffen can be that guy, he just needs a chance to learn the scheme.  We look lost on the back end and I think we are really missing someone who understands the scheme.

    • Why are Vikings fans acting like we peed in their cereal?
    • I’m actually fine with our TE group. I would like to see us upgrade at ILB, maybe safety and CB.   I think we are good at WR. I thought Corley could have been a good player but I guess he wasn’t doing good at all.   I came across this article about Corley from today. I know sometimes a change of scenery can really help turn around a player and we’ve seen plenty of players from the jets end up being good other places. I just don’t know if Corley is that guy.   https://www.newsweek.com/sports/nfl/jets-insider-shares-embarrassing-fact-about-malachi-corleys-release-2119816
    • I was really rooting for him after seeing that video about his struggles. I always thought he was a solid and underrated player.   I thought for sure he would have made the team after hearing all the hype and how he made that overthrown catch by Plummer behind the line and still was able to gain a yard or two off it. Plummer really overthrew him each time yet he was able to still not lose yards. I think he still could play in the nfl. I think he may need a few months to get into top form though. Hopefully he will get signed to another team.
