You know, questioning would actually be OK if the questioning was based on rational thought and rational objections and the questioners presented rational options, rather than the standard "FUG IT GETTLEDOUCHE JUST HATES THE PANTHERS AND HE FELT LIKE SWINGING HIS BIG KIELBASA AND FUGGING WITH A PLAYER AND THE COACHES LIVES FOR NO REASON EXCEPT A POWER-TRIP DERP!"

There have been valid question raised , like not addressing the OTs, letting go of all pro CB then drafting 3 rookies, cutting Bene based of 1 game, drafting Vernon Buttler instead of help on Offense, etc but you are  a Gettleman nut hugger , you would always put posters down when those question where raised. So please shut the fug up :)

I just don't get it...  I get he was having an issue against Jones, it looked like he was really hoofing it, but why now?  Again, it's not like we're stacked with CB talent..

He was tossed out on Julio when Bradberry started to get burned. Bradberry disappeared from the game for a while. I believe Bene took the brunt of it to keep Bradberry from being psychologically damaged. Then you have the blame placed on Bene, and the likely finger pointing at the rookies that followed. Gettleman does not like the finger pointing - especially at his rookies.

The Josh Norman debacle and trying for a second SB run makes it worse for the vets. Some vets are furious right now with the sub par play from all the rookies.

Robert McClain, you are the next victim on 'Scapegoat for Gettleman's rookies'.

A rookie struggles on Mike Evans, Julio Jones, Brandin Cooks, Larry Fitzgerald, Jeremy Maclin, Amari Cooper, Doug Baldwin, or DeSean Jackson and Robert McClain gets tossed out there on them just like Bene.

Eventually, Bradberry, Worley, and now Sanchez are going to have to step up and take on those WRs without being whisked off the field at the first sign they are struggling badly in the 1st quarter. They seem to be coddled. I am sure that is going over well with the vets.

Wouldn't shock me if McClain is gone after next week when Jameis shreds the secondary. Either him or Boston. If I was either of them, I'd be a bit worried about my job.

Welp put another on the pile of mistakes Dave is making.

I'll just add this is the reason why some teams/gms/scouts want super fast athletes. Cause one or two things will happen, injury(100% rate) or age(100% rate). Bene was a 4.67 guy coming out, able to stay with 4.4 guys... Til he had a serious leg injury. He lost a step and never got fully heathly even with plenty of time. Plus he had the look of safety, too big arms/shoulders. I still fill this was a bad mistake, put him on IR or bench him.

Bingo

300 yards folks

some of the huddle fools act like benwikerie shut down Julio this past Sunday instead of being the major factor in letting him set a new record for receptions against us.

    • I don't think Dave touches the defense. That might be a mark against him but definitely a huge red flag for evero. He refuses to run anything other than soft zone and when you don't get pressure that's an awful scheme
    • You don't have to convince me. I think not picking up the option should absolutely be firmly on the table but I just do not see Tepper and Morgan doing that for previously stated reasons. Therefore I'm not going to bother entertaining the notion. Just hoping we actually get real viable competition. If that doesn't happen at the minimum then my perception of that is complete and utter professional malpractice.
    • It was absolutely a catch, and I can’t believe how many folks were stating, before the NFL’s apology, that the overturn was the right call.  The ultimate question in this case is this: can a player complete a catch with only one hand? Of course, we all know the answer to that question, and it is an emphatic “Yes.” T-Mac maintained complete control with one hand (believe it was the right) while the other came off when the ball hit the ground. The ball was in the same position in the one hand (watch T-Mac’s fingers in relation to the NFL shield on the ball) after touching the ground as it was when it first went to the ground. Going back to the question above, if one hand can establish control, then there was no need for the other to stay on the ball, so long as the ball doesn’t move in that one hand that stays on it   It blew my mind that they overturned this in the first place. This should not be a “We got it wrong on the replay because there wasn’t clear and convincing evidence.” This should have been, “That was absolutely a catch.”
